Nadal's playing style used to be best tailored for clay courts. Playing with a strong two-handed backhand, well-angled heavily topspun strokes, fast mobility on the court, excellent defense, good feel and touch at net, and a preference to play from the deep court, he has developed into one of the, if not the best clay court players in the history of the game. He uses a full western grip forehand, which allows him to hit heavy, powerful topspin forehands giving him a bigger margin of error because of the height in which he clears the net and the speed of which the ball drops because of the topspin that is applied to the ball. His heavy topspin makes the ball kick up high in the air, which makes it extremely difficult to return. He is naturally right-handed, but he plays left-handed, and uses his dominant hand as an anchor for his two-handed backhand which he can flatten out or hit topspin like his forehand. Known for his excellent defense, Nadal hits on the run well and creates many winners from seemingly defensive positions. Overall, Nadal is an aggressive counterpuncher, forcing his opponents to make errors with his powerful topspin, his speed, and his athleticism and attacking short balls.

I would like to see Federer win the French this year, but realistically Nadal is unreal this year on clay, playing better than he has before, and there is no way Federer can crack that unless he is playing god-like. If anything I want to see a close and intense match tomorrow.

I'm a Federer fan and I really want him to win and make a career grand slam, but it seems hard this year, Rafa is playing his best tennis this Roland Garros, and I can imagine him winning in 3 sets.... I'm just hopping for the best...Go Roger!.

I think Nadal will win.

After all Nadal is the King of Clay.

But I think it will be close because Federer won't just give up, but still Nadal hasn't dropped a set coming into the final and Federer has dropped 4 or something.

So that means, Federer has had to play more sets than Nadal has had to and that might have an effect on Federer's game.

I want Roger to win because he is getting old and if he doesn't win this year, he will never win the French Open. However, if I am a betting man, I have to go with Nadal, he never been beaten at the French Open.

Nadal is gonna win it in 4 sets. The only way federer will win roland garros is to wait until Nadal is not playing there anymore.

Nadal... I mean he is amazing on clay. Federer hits really hard with spin but the clay takes away so much of that power. He needs to use his angles and just hang in there. His first serve % needs to go up. He also needs to play the best hes ever played to beat Nadal tommorow.  Fed ex is not going to wear him out but he may get the crowd on his side! idk but im pulling for nadal just bc he celebrates better lol. fed always crys and falls on the ground im like grow up u pansy go make another commercial infront of agreen screen and swing a racket infront of some sort of science lab. hahahahha.
