  1. Here I'll make multiple lines.....

    Line one....

    Zetterberg - Crosby - Hossa

    Line two....

    Ovechkin - Malkin - Jagr

    Line three.....

    Datsyuk - Thornton - Briere

    Line four.......

    E. Staal - Iginla - Lecavalier

    Scratches.....

    Pat Kane

    Nicklas Backstrom

    Marty St. Louis

    Mike Modano

    Ilya Kovalchuk

    Defense.....

    Defense pairing one.....

    Gonchar - Lidstrom

    Defense pairing two

    Campbell - Phanuef

    Defense pairing three...

    Chara - Green

    Goalie....

    Brodeur

  2. Offense

    LW Alex ovechkin

    C    Sidney Crosby

    RW Jarome Iginla

    Defense

    Dion Phaneuf

    Nicklas Lidstrom

    Goalie

    Roberto Luongo

  3. C:  Thornton

    LW:  Ovechkin

    RW:  Iginla

    D:  Gonchar

    D:  Lidstrom

    G:  Turco (great puckhandler/passer)

  4. Alexander Ovechkin

    Sydney Crosby

    Marian Gaborik

    Nicklas Lidstrom

    Dion Phaneuf

    Martin Brodeur

In this I have 2 top goal scorers and speedsters on the Wings, a playmaking centre to feed perfect passes

On defense as trong all around defenseman in Lidstrom as good on offense as on the backcheck,  a booming shot in Phaneuf

Behind the pipes a 1st ballot HOFer

  5. Malkin - 2nd in pts this year

Crosby - arguably the best player in the new generation

Ovechkin - won 4 NHL awards this year

Lidstrom - 6th norris trophy in 7 yrs for him

Gonchar - always reliable on the PP

Brodeur - can spring an offensive break with his puck-handling skills

  6. Ovechkin - Crosby -Hossa    Ovechkin is crazy on his own and Crosby and Hossa already work great together and combined for over 50 points in the playoffs. Defense would be Gonchar and Lidstrom because they both work the point well and score as well as creat opportunities for their teams. Goalie would be Brodeur because hes really good at passing for a goalie.

  7. Ovechkin-Crosby-Datsyuk

    Ovie- obvious pick, leagues MVP.

Crosby- also obvious pick, debatabely the best player in the league.

Datsyuk- obvious choice for me..maybe not other people. Good offensive touch, very good defensive player.

    Lidstrom-Chara

Lidstrom has the best +/- in the league. Lead defenseman in points this season.

Chara-Norris trophy finalist for good reasons. He's the base of the Bruins defense (may not say much, but hey XD). He's underrated by some, I used to think he was overrated, he changed my mind this year.

    Brodeur- Obvious reasoning.

EDIT: While I do agree with Thornton like some people said, he is not the best passer in the league. I'd have to give that to Marc Savard, but that's just me I guess.

  8. Zetterburg

    Datsyuk

    Holmstrom

    Lindstrom

    Malone

    Kolzig

  9. I'll make an offensive team of current NHL players according to their postions....:-)

    LW--C--RW

    1Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Kovalev

    2Ovechkin-Crosby-Hossa

    3Nash-Modano-St.Louis

    4Kovalchuk-Lecavalier-Alfredsson

    Offensive defensemen lines:

    1Lidstrom-Gonchar

    2Campbell-Phaneuf[can you imagine the hits?!]

    3Kaberle-Green

    Goalies:

    1.Nabokov

    2.Brodeur

    3.Luongo

Holy c**p! That would be craaazy haha..
