    -actually has final appearances

    -stockton could teach teamwork better seeing as how he is number 1 all time in assists

    -better defense all time steals leader

    -discipline he was coached by jerry sloan his entire career

    -loyalty played on jazz his entire career,nash played on 2 teams (suns twice)

    - teaches better perimeter defense (he leads in career steals)

    - calm and collected but exerts proper authority

    - his set plays are easier to learn and more reliable than nash

    - he learned from sloan

    - substance over fancy

  4. i would say john stockton. way more experience and played with the very best. he also played tough defense unlike nash.  

  5. Stockton....because Nash is a creative player at the point that dribbles deep into the back court drawing defenders creating open shots for teammates. This a particular skill that only a few at best can do and teach. Where as Stockton was great at running specific plays sent in from Jerry Sloan (coach). Which shows his discipline and knowledge of the game. Having Sloan as a mentor doesn't hurt either.

  7. Stockton. Nash has an entirely different personality; he'd be better at analysis & tv then John would. John has also played under Jerry Sloan; one of the toughest men in NBA history and a dang good coach himself. Who has Nash had?

    HOWEVER...if it is a Canadian team, Nash might be the better selection as he is from Canada.

    He had and probably still has one of the best basketball I.Q.s ever. He would be better in getting the best out of his players and teaching them how to play the game the way it should be played.

    Plus, he could teach the pick and roll, which he ran perfectly for 19 years.

  9. John Stockton. he was the better player. hes a 50 greatest player kind of guy. Nash just...isnt.

  10. idk id have to say stockton cuz he is older. But Nash wouldnt be a bad comentator
