Based on your question, you think it's definitely a popularity and a beauty contest. accentuated by Sarah Palin, who is very good looking. He needed some eye candy to counteract "dreamboy" Obama.

As far as policy goes, it doesn't matter. It's a lock. Obama will be elected as long as McCain is unable to win back enough "true conservatives". The only fix is if McCain has Bob Barr in the debates where he can win back enough conservatives who are polling for Barr, even in Alaska.

Hillary Clinton. However, her dumb political party chose another person so my next choice is McCain.

McCain, because he will probably die in office leaving Palin in charge.

She is the only candidate that supports banning the birth control pill.

McCain, because I want somebody I can trust. Somebody who doesn't lie to me, and make promises he can't keep. Somebody respectable, and who knows that government's role should be limited. John McCain is an American Hero who has done everything in service to his country. While.. his opponent, the 'honorable' Senator from Illinois has done absolutely nothing since taking office.
