  1. C. other. Themselves.

  2. It was B at one time but now it is a mixture which has begun to lean more toward A.

Suggestions citizen control of power supplies, make own internet, no Authority no Bosses. Another point while it has been said The Monarchy has been outmoded The Media has portrayed Presidents in places like The U.S.A. like Royalty with a lot of pomp . The U.S.A. may be a Republic but there is a cult of worship around individuals something people should be wary of. The emphasis is not on how the person does in office but The Office and the position of power. People act like  they should be in awe of someone for being President when it was their votes which put The President in office. The President is but another elected person even though one who has responsibility for an entire nation. Another thing there is something which may bother voters a statement  that ''The President Of America is The Most Powerfull Man In The World''. This seems a little arrogant. Half the people in the world are women so isn't this like saying The Most Powerfull Patriarch In The World. Women might say remember us. Makes you wonder what the President's wife or daughter was then.

  3. B

  4. "Lord of the Flies" is ususally assigned about the same time in high school as all the Orwell "standards" so you must realize that the natural order assumes a body, be it flesh or political, will act first based on its own interests when left without an enforced order.

When the People stop actively participating in government, order is removed.  How many people who complain about their "useless" vote actually do anything OTHER than vote to take part in the process?

When the People abdicate their accountability to others, order is removed.  From raising and teaching their children to deciding what makes up a healthy diet, if the People leave these things to the State, then why should the State NOT work for its own interests.

  5. its supposed to be B but I think its A.

  6. Ghandi Reincarnated.

  7. ME.

  8. c.    chuck norris

  9. they work for the president because thats where their bomb *** benefits derive from

then they have to work for the citizens which they arent so happy to do.

  10. Lobbyists.  This is due to the centralizing of wealth & power through taxation & laws.

Imagine the neighborhood you live in.  Now all those families have money and different views.  If any business or interest wants to do business or pass neighborhood rules they can't just go to one family and expect to get what they want.

But imagine if one family now collected 1/3rd of what every family made (taxes).  Now businesses and people of interests would go to that one family and give them more money to make sure they get all the neighborhood business, and pass all the neighborhood rules.

Now the other families lose powers of influence and wealth.  They have less resources to create change, and often don't realize why they're in the bad situation they're in.

That's pretty much what America is becoming.  Too much government, too much taxes.  One party wants to tax & spend for war.  The other party wants to tax & spend for social programs.  But what the country needs is less federal involvement, less taxes & more freedom for its citizens & marketplace.

    Basically we need Ron Paul.

  11. In theory B, but only if the people give a d**n. Otherwise it's A.

  12. Well lets see

    A and C

    we have

    The Christian Coalition

    Halliburton

    Exxon

    Chevron

    Shell

    ConocoPhillips

    GE

    The Super RICH

    NYSE

    DOW Jones

    Lockheed Martin

    DuPont Chem. Co.

    many many more

  13. Currently the US government is working for the Arabs. The Arabs are using our army, rent free, to handle a situation they couldn't handle, that being the possible conquering of the region by the deposed and now dead Saddam Hussein. Our reward for our help to protect "the gas station" is a big pile of dead soldiers  and civilians and  oil prices rocketing to the moon. Sadly, the American government doesn't work for the average American because all politicians are hearing impaired. The real terrorists are here sitting in chairs in the Capitol building.

  14. themselves!

  15. The People

  16. Other:

They work for the imaginary ideal US. They believe in a perfect ideal society - their ideal, not the people's - and work for that goal. Which is in fact impossible to achieve.

  17. well, they are SUPPOSED to work for the US citizens. but for the past several decades i think they cater more and more to their own whims and to special interests groups.

  18. B - Us

  19. Others! To specify,  "A" because The Bush Administration when it pander's to the oil and energy companies in general.

The answer is "B", B. When Bush's first word comes that comes out of his mouth is in the form of a compliment to some representatives of a special interest that exist in one form or another across the Nations, and "C" when Bush is complimenting himself for his great victory in the Middle East.

  20. themselves...but they try to make the US a better place to be.

  21. them

  22. they work for no one but themselves. they lie and say they work for the "people" but YEAH RIGHT!!!!!

  23. it's B retards.. stop complaining

  24. The US government works for the American people.  Many of our politicians, however, work for the special interests that make up the Council on Foreign Relations.  This includes the big oil companies.

Don't look to our politicians to work to lower energy costs.  They have worked dilligently to get them as high as possible.

Never confuse our government with our politicians.  It is impossible for our government to violate our rights.  It is criminal politicians, working for special interests who violate our rights.  They have violated their oath to the Constitution.  Their actions are violations of the Supreme Law of the Land.  This, makes them criminals.

  25. a bunch of g*y aleins from, the planet bull **** (bu_ _sh_ _)

  26. The U.S. Government is supposed to be by the people for the people (meaning, B is the correct answer). However, had I not read take my answer directly from the constitution, and rather from experience, I would have answered A. Politicians (dem or rep) seem to work for money. Many of our politicians are rich, so the work for their own best interest, they also want to make more money, so they work for special interest (lobbyists) to make more money. Special interests groups usually do not have public interest in mind--they want to make money on public vices.

Most answerers have chosen C (I think that many do not see A as being a type of C). Yet, I could see why some people might choose C, as well. We spend billions, if not more, helping other countries, which seems to suggest that the U.S. government not only works for themselves (whatever that means), but also works for other countries--they call this 'Diplomacy.' I call diplomacy 'throwing money at a problem in hopes that the problem will go away on its own.'

  27. They are supposed to work for the people but they are actually working for special interest. It's a sad thing, we need our government back.

  28. A.) It works for private equity the will of the people.

  29. a. the few and special interests.

    Corporations.

It's a you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

The people are purposefully kept out. It's been going on for more than a hundred years.
