Who does the cooking in your house?

is it the woman, the man, the children, a private chef, babysitter, etc. or do you just eat out most of the time??

definitely a family affair. sundays we are all in the kitchen cooking up monday - thursday dinners so we are not pressed for time during the week. friday and saturday i do most with some help from the kids. i am still the better cook but only because my kids are still learning and my husband is content with just helping.

I do the vast majority of the cooking.  My husband does some things really well, but Lord what a mess...he makes a sandwich and leaves the kitchen looking like he's made dinner for 14 people!  He's the master with filet mignon, though - we splurge at Christmas, and he works on it for hours...yum!!

well my husband works 14 hours a day so i do the cooking since he brings in all the money.

but when he can he will cook for me and he is a great cook

I do all the cooking. Unless of course we are BBQ then my man does it. But I don't mined one bit. I love to cook.

Pretty much just me, although my husband will cook something simple if I am not home. I intend to have my kids helping out as much as they can when they are old enough though.

Since hubby and I have been married, I'm lucky if he'll make his own bowl of cereal.  He is so spoiled but I don't mind.  I love cooking and he loves eating.  He's not fat though.  He was a body builder for over twenty years.

I do all the cooking. I am a better cook, although he is nto that bad, he just wont cook unless he absolutely has to, like if I am workng late and he has to feed the kids♥

Both of my parents cook. Although my father enjoys it a lot more and he is the better cook! Us children try to help, but it's easier to wait for the complete meal :)

I generally do the cooking. I enjoy it and I'm just better at it. My husband usually does the dishes.

is generally me, the woman, but my husband has the most original idea when I am tired with what's in the pantry, like chicken sloppy joe's with pasta or pita, or nachos.

About 80 percent of the time, you will find me in the kitchen.  I love to cook/bake, and I PREFER to do it.  :)  If my man is craving some authentic English fare (he is an Englishman), you will find him in front of the stove.  :)  (my Yank self can never get the recipes right).

I would say we are about even on cooking talent, though.  When I let him in there, he does a fab job!  :D

My mom usually. I do desserts and breakfast sometimes. My dad cooks the meat and does some baking.

My husband & I split the cooking...however, I find that when I cook he insists on standing around the kitchen and he tries to add things to the pot when I'm not looking....we both love to cook.   I think I'm the better cook : )  Of course, he thinks he is..

I usually cook.  If it's grilling, my husband does it.  On Sundays, I have the kids take turns at cooking a full family meal, so that they know how to cook.

I cook more gourmet and international, and his specialties are more homestyle and Italian.

The one rule we have? The one who cooks doesn't have to clean!
