Can you give some basic requirments for the kind of person who works for intelligence?

  1. Are you referring to military personnel working in intelligence fields, or DOD civilians?  Whether working as a DOD civilian, officer or enlisted person in the intelligence field, you will need to be eligible to get a Top Secret clearance, and be eligible for TS/SCI.  

    Enlisted personnel need to have certain minimum score on their ASVAB to qualify.  Not sure what determines if an officer is qualified.

  2. anyone who has the ASVAB scores. you will also have to be able to pass the physical and security requirements. you must be able to obtain a top secret security clearance it is not very hard.
