Who does vodka in a bottle float but?

but tequila in a bottle doesnt same size bottle and shape and the were both full

Could have something to do with the proof of the liquor.  If it is high proof, it's going to float, because ethanol is (if I remember correctly) about 4/5 as dense as water.
