  1. I don't understand why they do it.

  2. I just don't get the whole crackdown on chatting, as others have said, the personal facet of this site is the only thing that keeps it unique.  If I actually wanted information, I would consult good websites like google or wikipedia, not some half-assed Yahoo c**p.

  3. My friend has gotten a violation notice, and Yahoo didn't even write ANYTHING for the violation reason.  I'm serious.

And then when she wrote to them, they just sent her a list of the rules.  Well obviously she could have found them herself, but the list is huge - it's hard to find your specific problem.  They don't even tell you what you do wrong when you ask.

Like I've said before, my aunt's good friend works at Yahoo and hates it there, and it's no wonder why...

  4. My last 3 questions have been deleted... I've had it with this.

It's getting ridiculous. Hope to see you around here soon.

Good luck finding those ever elusive pants of yours.

  5. I got three violations in the 4 hours I worked today...no explanations. Its not even worth the effort to appeal it anymore.

  6. Is it a real mystery that Yahoo's stock is c**p.  I mean come on.  Microsoft pretty much offered to bail them out and they refused.  Who is running Yahoo?  George W.

  7. I got my question deleted yesterday-WTF??!!

  8. Yeah, I'm getting real tired of it. I had a question recently deleted. It doesn't tell me why either because I have yahoo answers under my spam list....so everything they send me gets deleted. =b

I'm just getting real tired........it's not what it use to be. The trolls are tearing us all apart too, lol. I'm not kidding though......back in January-ish we were all IMO a lot closer.......I think the trolls have a lot to do with it.

  9. Yeah, but you gotta make it look like a hockey question. Something like " Who's better Tie Domi or Georges Laroque? ... at beating some sense into the trolls that get my Q's and A's deleted?

  10. Yeah it's dumb, I've gotten two violations so far.

  11. I've got the violation email 7 or 8 times now haha...

  12. d**n why do you have to leave too! who cares if they delete your question just keep asking! dont leave!!! if you do we're gonna miss you you were great on the hockey section!

    bye!

    hope you visit us again!

  13. I wouldn't go as far as saying that I "love" this site....it is being run by a bunch of retarded monkeys though.

  14. It's happened to me a number of times as well. I always respond on principle. The response I usually use is If it wasn't a question why did I get so many answers? It doesn't get the question back but I do get some kind of inner peace.

    Peace and Love,

    Tom

  15. Due to another Cleansing by The Moral Crusaders (Q&A Borg), we have to be mindful of our questions. Some folks "out there" really have a nasty, negative attitude about chatting.

I don't support their attitude, I just understand it.

Which means that in the absence of original questions, what harm can chat bring to a site that is, by its nature, designed for it?

I have so very often exclaimed that if they want to eliminate chat, why don't they just save everyone the grief and make Yahoo Answers the second coming of Wikipedia.

The neighbors dog understands this better than they do.

It's up to anyone to deal with it as they wish, but I don't suffer quietly. That's one aspect of my life that I am willing to share with others openly - if you get my drift.
