this is a long question, 10 points given to the person who answers most detailed...

any answers welcome about hair, jewlery, make-up, outfits, actions, music, labeling,etc.

1)HAIR: i mean, i love the emo/scene kid hair styles (mainly guys) but i understand that few people don't. so, for those few people, why don't you like it? i think its basically adults (20+) who hate this look, but idk...

2 of my cousins hav emo like hair but 1, she just has the long fringe, and 2, he has the scene kid hairstyle...both of them dont'look emo,only their hair... alot of people label them emo, its retarded!

i get labelled emo because i have emo hair but i dress prepy im like wtf hello people. its rediculous why people label others just because of something so dumb, and i love the emo style so i combine both prepy and emo together lol

Well i hate to label.

But some people class themselves as a label.

In my opinion, i think some of these 'emo' guys and girls are nice people. There not a different species lol.

And as for the hair? I think its stunning. :)

Coz they do retarded ****, wear skin tight pants, are incredibly skinny, cut themselves, listen to gash music, have c**p hair and wear makeup. I'm so fed up of people tellin me they dress emo to express themselves and look different, all their mates dress exactly the same, its become soo kewl to be different that everyones dressing differently, and therefore is nolonger different. If i wanted 2 luk different i wud jus selotape rubber c***s to my forehead and hands. As for the makeup well don't get me started of this whole gender confusion that lingers over the youth of today

1. I just am not personally attracted to that style. It's all about personal taste and not everyone is going to love a certain hairstyle. I think it's ugly. It's an opinion, that's it.

2. I am absolutely, completely unattracted to guys who are at all

a) metro

b) sensitive

c) feminine

I like my men "manly" so to speak. I'm a traditional girl. Again, it's about personal choice and no one is attracted to the same things.

3. It's ugly. Scene clothing is mismatched, bright, tacky, all around horrible to look at. I just really loathe it.

i dont like the skinny jeans and the straightened hair, if they sprayed it so it was down over their face with a bit of wave i reckon it would be hotter.

however i love their piercings and band tshirts!

i dont mind the eyeliner as long as thats the extent

because it's dark, it's all tied in with being depressed, sick of life, listening to c**p depressing music about being sick of life and just generally not being a happy person. hense emo (emotional)

wait there! uve labelled in ur own question, uve gone through and listed all the qualities that you have to have to be an emo!

sometimes there is nothing to smile about, but you have to get on with life, or there is the other link to emos which is cutting themselves which is selfish and stupid.
