I can't imagine how anyone could not think Nastia Liukin is a beautiful and talented girl.  I think both she and Shaun were just amazing (and beautiful) but between the two I really admired Nastias almost feline grace as much as Shauns strength, willpower and natural easy smile.

But one of the things I really liked about both of them is that despite the fact that they competed fiercely in the events, the moment they were done with their routines they were right there with each other like best friends. The two of them put together are even more of a positive example than either of them individually.

I wouldn't want to pick between them, I love them both and they are both fabulous.

she is pretty and talented...but she is bad sport..when she finishes her routines she is all happy and confident, but once she sees someone else beats her, she goes back to her normal bitter face. (im not talking about the time she got cheated) but like the beam competition she looked like she wanted to rip that medal off shawn johnson...

i think shawn is prettier and more talented though. and she is only 16 and she is just as talented as the 18 year old nastia liukin

The people who think so, only do because she represents America.  If she represented her mother country Russia I don't think there would be such a fuss.  Shawn is the cute one anyways.

Yes, she is very talented and beautiful. And for all of the people saying she looks arrogant and conceited, are you kidding me. It's called focus. 10+ years of hard work and no focus??? That's a joke. It's the face of a true champion. Oh, and by the way, she is a very good sport. She didn't complain at all when she got ripped off. GO NASTIA!!!

Dimitriy, you are wrong.  I like other gymnasts other than just Shawn and Nastia,  Ksenia Semenova on the Romanian team is awesome, she is very talented too - she ranked second in uneven bars qualification when Nastia placed 5th.
