Who else agrees that Daniel Kerr was justified in whacking Scott West.?

It was so good to see - Kerr dropping West. Though the weakling West put on his usual act & feigned injury - he should give this game away & take up netball.

West was happy to put the c**p on Kerr because the pathetic umpires allow taggers to do as they please (Unless one's name is Gary Ablett!) but when he copped a bit back he dropped & carried on like a baby.

So it is ok for Kerr to do a cowardly act and headbutt someone, but 2 weeks ago Barry Hall who had also been manhandled by Staker was called a coward for retaliating. How hypocritical some people are.

Just to even up the numbers a bit for all those that said that it was so good the other week to see Hall drop Staker.

Because the WCE were the first team to take the premiership cup out of Victoria most Victorian AFL supporters hate the Eagles & take evry opportunity in rubbishing them.

Really, & I'm sure most will agree, it is not before time that the Eagles players have started to retalliate to the treatment that is dished out to them. The umpires certainly don't treat them fairly.

i recon, wat a baby, west left the field, as if it was that bad, i dont go for the eagles but kerr was unfairly dealt with last nite, someone was latched onto him all nite.

and gary ablett, geez has a cry then plays on as if nothing was wrong. footy is turning into soccer.

You have to be joking. Kerr charged him off play and headbutted WEST without REASON. He will get 4 week at least and he deserves IT (he has points on hold if suspended again).

West was not tagging kerry BOYD was but that DOES not mitigate Kerr being a jerk (as usual) and assaulting a player way off the ball.

personally i think he was justified in doing something cos the upires were not doing anything.

Daniel Kerr is one of the few disgraces left at the  WC Evils and needs to clean up his act. Scott West is no cry baby - he came back on because he was needed. The ump was justified.

Being a brilliant football technician isn't any excuse for being a tenth grade thug, a la Barry Hall.

You might have thought it was good to see but the tribunual wont think the same, with his record will certainly miss some games

Players from both sides will push the envelope until free kicks are paid against them.

I can't remember the last time a player gives away too many free kicks and not get dragged by the coach.

So all the umpire has to do was pay free kicks early on in the game and these things should calm down.

I looked at the replay today and it seems that the umpire saw Kerr getting scragged and yet do nothing.

You will never stop scragging.

I believe if the umpire went into the game with a firm determination that scragging is unacceptable then the scragging will be minimal.

Facts are the good players should be given the latitude to display their skills within the letter of the law.

The stupidity of all this was they paid a "time wasting" free kick against Carlton yet they allow scragging to occur.

After WCE got rid of Chick, Cousins, Judd, they seemed to lose their balls. Cox goes down, and no-one goes in to support him, Staker goes down and no-one goes into help him.
