Who else believes that Global Warming and being 'Green' is a fake?

Things can be earth friendly,

but they wont change a thing.

its scientifically proven.

just let me explain a little..

1. Who says that this is the right temperature for the earth?

maybe its higher, maybe its lower.

WE DONT KNOW THIS.

Maybe one organism will die,

but another may reproduce into a new organism.

2. Ethanol does DAMAGE to the economy.

All it does is use up all the corn so that families may not be able to afford to eat it.

My family hasnt eaten corn in about 2 years.

The farmers earn more money off it, so of course they love it.

MEXICANS CANT EVEN AFFORD TO MAKE THEIR TORILLAS!

3. All scientists say the only 2% of 'Global Warming' is caused by humans and animals.

and half of that is just by us breathing in and out.

So if we would kill every single organism on the earth,

Global Warming STILL wouldnt be solved.

also, the earth is changing temperature, but who says its a bad thing?

All I can say is I know that number 3 is wrong, so if you buy into that you aren't very smart...Also notice how those who say global warming is a fake have to citations whereas those saying global warming is real do. Hmm...funny isnt it? Thats why as of now I believe there may be something to global warming.

I don't believe in global warming, a couple decades ago they were saying we were coming to an ice age, did that happen?  NO!  They don't know enough about the earth to determine if global warming exists or not..they were wrong before about the ice age, it's the same thing.

I agree with you although I think that we have an obligation to future generations to leave the earth in good condition.  I think we should do what we can, and what is reasonable to help preserve the natural environment.  Don't you hate seeing trash strewn along roadways?  Don't you hate seeing smog over the landscape?  To the extent that we can help we should.

i am amused. where did you get ur information, the bush administration? you do know that these scientists were told to modify their findings rite? also how can u say all scientists. Let me give you some credible sources ok. check out the ipcc formed by the united nations, nasa. then get back to me. also i cannot say there is a set temperature but i do believe that a drastic change can kill of most animals and there would be no point if all the humans are dead. of course some organisms would live but i dont think there are worth humans. Corn might not be the best option but it is way better than coal that emits co2. First of all MORE co2 causes stronger HURRICANES, draughts, more floods, and other disasters. Yes global warming would take place regardless but we are speeding it up. warming should not happen overnight but it is a gradual process so drastic changes are more harmful. do better research yourself.

What makes me take Global warming less seriously then most sceientific concepts is the complete lake of willings to dicuss it among the so called experts. The history channel aired a special which included a so called expert who had the audacidy to say people are deny global warming are just as bad as people who deny the holocaust.

There is no 'just right' temperature. The earth's temperature is a cycle. Its not always the same.

Its not so much fake as it is a Political religion disguising itself as a Desire to help the planet.  If they would quit whining about it and make a Clean product that would work better that our current fuel sources at a cheaper cost, well market forces would drive the CO2 right out of the air

You are absolutely right. Also, the earth is flat and all of those dinosaurs are actually made of plastic. I personally buried some of those bones. It is all a fake. Remember to wear your tinfoil hat at all times.

So because of all this we shouldn't recycle and reuse the resources that we are slowly draining from the earth?  We shouldn't make the world a healthier place to live in?  We should just keep tearing a whole in the ozone layer, polluting the air, and dumping our garbage everywhere.  Then when we're done using up the earth's resources and revert back to the dark ages, yeah then we can enjoy the worlds great cycle.

1. In a cosmic sense, there really is no "right" temperature for the earth.  However, our species and society has evolved and developed in a way that the current temperature is about the best.  Getting much colder or much hotter would cause problems.

2. You're right, ethanol was a bad idea that the administration promoted just so it looked like they were doing something good for the economy.  We need to develop energy sources (solar, tidal, wind, geothermal) that don't diminish our food supply.

3. I'm afraid you're very mistaken on this one.  Most climate scientists over the past 10 years have concluded that about 70 - 90% of the warming during the last 50 years are from human activities such as burning fossil fuel and deforestation (not breathing).

Your points are valid and I agree with them. I would like to see the Government give more incentives to move us into more efficient ways to produce energy which is clean. We have made strides in communications yet when it comes to the internal combustion engine one would have thought we would be further ahead in our technology.  Plus solar power for homes should be encouraged more with a way to help homeowners to afford them.  I may be conservative on values however when it comes to technology I feel we have not progressed nearly enough.

Yes, it's a scam. I think It's a lot like convincing everyone that certain people are a great hazard, and we must go to great lengths to achieve a "solution".

     They believe that people will go along with it, thinking that its "industry" that will be taxed.  And when the cost of everything goes way up, that will just prove that business is greedy.

     We could accomplish more, and save more resources ( and money) by reducing speed limits by 1/3rd.  I bet oil prices would decline 20$, as soon as the speculators heard of it.
