Who else doesn't like Chinese food?

I always get the gaping-mouth stares and WHY?!! when I tell people this (chicken fried rice and sweet/sour chicken is the exception.. I like those). Otherwise I think it tastes weird and most of the dishes honestly doesn't look very appetizing. Or am I just going to all the wrong places?

I used to be a big fan of Chinese food  or at least the Western versions of it but then I discovered Thai and Vietnamese food., so much better. The only Chinese food I eat now is Yum Cha, that I believe I will never get sick of!

the only thing i like is fried rice, but even then i pull out all the ham, peas n prawns lol!

I hate chinese food. they look suspicious, and usually they also are. (rice as exeption)

when i watched some travell  documents about asia, chinese appear to eat anything that moves:snakes, frogs, dogs, cats, testicles, eyes... you get the point. Nothing is holy, and everything weird is seen as "gourmet" in the chinese kitchen

A long walk on a short pier is in order. Seriously , You have your favorites and its your prerogative what you like and don't. I this is perfectly normal. I live in Thailand and most of their dishes don't appeal to me. Pig guts and fish gizzards. Eck. Also you may be right about switching restaurants. I find when I'm in America that the ones that have Buffets are the worst appetizing. Also their a myriad of other ethnic food to try. Hope you enjoy your next meal. Order something that will make your friends cringe

I absolutely dis-like Chinese food but it doesn't matter how it looks ,or where you go just doesn't make me want to try it either. But for though people who love it that's great. I'm just fussy eater.
