  1. Sure did!. It woke me up! The bed was shaking, the windows rattling, the dishes rattling. It was awful, and it felt like forever! I went to grab my baby boy (he sleeps with us) and head to the bathroom, but my husband said for us three to just stay in bed because we were in the safets location of the house (We have one story, and this house is very old, and our bedroom was the only room re-inforced from underneath i guess, plus nothing on the walls) my husband just held us until it was over. Very scary, but I didn't feel the after shocks. I hope it doesn't happen again. Thank God no one was hurt. We live in Ky, we felt it around 4:30 A.M. I believe. I was really scared, I knew it was an earth quake, Only because I remember reading the night before about some earth quake prediction in Cali, so that was my first assumption. My parents who live 20 min. from me thought it was a tornado (We get those a lot) and their house shakes during strong windy storms as well. They ran to the basement until they realized it completely stopped. They felt the after shocks.
