Who else has awfull food served by school?

Ours is terrible. I go to a private school and the public school kids get to eat WHATEVER. But we get the option to leave school during our free periods and during lunch to get whatever we want, as long as we sign out and come back on time as part of our senior privilege. Otherwise it's a detention.

Mine ?! No real "spicy" chilli , identical foods ...bland ... fake spaghetti[the sauce tastes like water] , cold rice , but be grateful .There are worse ...

Ok, this is 2 people answering!!!

me: Yes!!!!!!!! The food is so so so so nasty! At my school they serve pizza 3 times a week and chicken 5 times a week!! If i eat any more chicken or pizza, i will puke! (and it's not the good kind either)

other person: The pizza is evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its all greasy and sometimes wet. it is sooooooooooooooo nasty. like she said im going to barf!!!!!!!!!!!! why cant we get panda exspress or something. Im going on pizza strike(school pizza that is) and the other girl with me is too.

sometimes its good but other times its disgusting! i always check the menu and if its gross i get a few extra dollars and buy a cookie or something that actually decent to eat!

the fries are soggy, the pizza has GREASE dripping off of it, the cheese is hard as a brick, and dont get me started on te others.

INmy school in northern Colorado, we are served the lowest of the low foods. OUr old food servers, Golden Corral, were actually forced to quit because of their heath code violations, which consisted of a PARAGRAPH of things they were doing wrong. They were giving us un-cooked chicken, and very ill-prepared food. I hope this gives oyu an idea of how horrible my jail cell of a school is.

We are now served McDonalds, Taco Bell, some mysterious chineese food, and pizza hut.

not all of it's bad (the ice cream, cookies, milk, sunny d, water and nachos), but there are alot of bad stuff (everything else), they give us bruised apples and wilted salads. one time i had to stand in line to get lunch, and they were in a rush, cuz we were the last lunch shift, and there was nothing but pizza left, and they gave us "freshly cooked: pizza, but the only problem was that it was still frozen....i didn't realize it until i took a bite out of it (the bottom was warm), i spit it out and threw the pizza in the trash. it was horrible. my friend even gets stomach aches after eating out school lunches...everytime she eats them.

they offer some good food, but its more expensive than normal food lol the normal food is almost always the same (nasty pizza, soy burgers, etc) the good food is far more expensive than it should, so were all screwed at my school

I think cafeteria food is generally awful, but in AR they have taken it to the extreme.  Gov. Huckabee put into effect healthy food guidelines to follow, which is good for the kids, but let's face it:  baked fries are not as good as deep-fried.  Neither are soy burgers better than the real thing.  A few years ago, before the governor went on this healthy spree, the schools served half-decent meals, but now, the kids groan when lunch is mentioned.  Plus, bringing lunch from home has reached a new high.

actually, i have off campus lunch, so i can go anywhere, any restruant, or do what i want during lunch.  But when im hungry and have no money i eat in the cafeteria, its good, but the mac and cheese is the only thing that is nasty.  I actually like it.
