Who else has got into Windows Live Messenger?

I got into pc`s really late. I have never tried Yahoo Messenger so far. But Windows Messenger has opened up a whole new world for me.

I've got both, Yahoo and Windows Live. Both drive me nuts, they always sign me out and back in again.

Probably just my antique computer, but it still drives me mad...

Thats really good you are learning, im glad that windows live has opened up a new world to you, the world of the internet is the future no matter what people say, the internet is full of endless possibilities and you have already found one of them. I dont personally use windows live messenger due to myself being more orientated around gaming, chatting on forums and web chat rooms but it sure is a great tool and great application to use to meet new people and socialize

I have no clue.

All I know is when I start the PC up it logs me into Windows Live Messenger AND Yahoo Messenger.

I just click the little Mr. X in the corner and carry on like it never happened.

EDIT- SM, so when I log on tomorrow at 6.45am am I all right to mail you if I get stuck changing the settings? lol...

i use msn messenger 8.5 I dont like live messenger..It is a good program,as i can speak to my friends world wide for free.Yahoo messenger is better to use for webcam,as it doesnt freeze as often,and gives a clearer,more defined picture.

I only use it when I'm in the humour for a chat, it's handy for relatives living abroad, ((keeping in touch))

HAZ you need to open messenger and

change the settings to stop it opening on startup.

i use yahoo messenger.

Windows Messenger is only as good as your contacts. Mine is full of pervs and desperados.

Yahoo Messenger has the nicest contacts :)

I use Mac's Joanne, but that said I can use iChat for chatting. ;)
