Its cheesy. It could have a better plotline ((and actors)) So, yeah, I don't overly like the movie version, but the stage version is slightly better.

me they show  it to much and they plan on having a 3rd one in the movie theaters all those little kids like it thats why i stopped watching disney channel

You gotta admit it's a money machine! My 8 year old niece was really into it, now she's all about the Hannah Montana. I guess I see HSM as something 7 and 8 year old little girls like so when I see high school and college aged girls and some (totally fabulous) guys really into it, I question their intelligence.

i hate it like my sister's c**p. I have two sisters who watched the movie at least 20 times in the first week that they got it. I almost lost it that week.

High School Musical is a complete and utter insult to musical theatre! It's almost taunting us!

I think its a cute little movie for the age group it caters to.... i'm just tired of hearing about it! Lol

And the funny thing is on this forum, there's about 5 or 6 kids a day (at least!) who want to know how they can be Disney Channel stars like the kids from the film...

oooohhh you are sooo not alone. all my friends totally hate high school musical. people will get over it eventually, around 10th grade
