  1. I am. I think Hillary would have been the strongest addition to the ticket. She would have united the Party, had money and resources, is a woman and had foreign policy experience. Biden is a cypher, with baggage, such as plagiarism, talks too much and makes gaffes, though not as bad as McCain. Hillary should have at least been interviewed

  2. Obama and Biden deserve each other. a pair with no major constructive dees to their credit. They are non entities.

  3. Why would you vote for Mccain! You may not like Obama but he would be a better pick then Mccain. Although he and Hillary did not have exactly the same ideas they almost did. They're both democrat and now working together. You may not like either canidates but if you had to choose why not go for Obama he's the closest thing you're going to get to Hilary. Hilary even said that to some of her supporters when she was speaking.

  4. wow. if you are picking mccain over obama, i highly doubt you were a hillary supporter because she made it clear to everyone who supported her to vote democrat because you kow what? obama and hillary had soooo many things in common, both of them would have been good in office! (but in my opinion Obama is going to make those things happen more then hillary could. that's why i've supported him since the very beginning....)

think about it man. do you really want mccain in office? if you do then i have no clue where you are coming from.

    Obama/Biden 2008 :]

  5. On paper,  Biden is perfect for Obama, but it wont work for him b/c Biden is Washington insider and it completely ruins Obama's mantra of "change".  Realistically, he should have picked Hillary if he wanted more votes, but even Evan Byah or Chet Edwards would have been better than Biden.   No democrat has won the white house without winning the south and I beleive Byah or Chet Edwards would have given Obama more exposure to south.  I bet McCain is one happy camper today.

  6. Although I agree that Biden wasn't the best choice, I don't think Hillary would have been the best choice either, I'm just not sure who would have been.

  7. Are you a black g*y person from Illinois?

  8. Then you are not Democrat.  Any Democrat that would have such wa wa sour grapes that turns to the other side, is welcome to leave.

Good riddance.  We're not going to need you.

  9. Who are you kidding?  You were never going to vote for Obama.  If you were, you would still vote for him since he and Hillary had almost identical policies.  You expect people to believe that you would totally vote against someone that holds your beliefs because he didn't pick someone that you liked?  Stop it.  I hope that you are more intelligent.   But I really think that you are a Republican in Democrat clothing trying to cause a fault line in the party.  Nice Try.

  10. Yeah right.  Doesn't upset me.  He still does not have my vote and never will.

  11. I'm just happy he didn't pick one of his friends like Bill Ayers or Jeremiah Wright.  First time he's used good judgement in his life and not picking Hillary will probably cost him the election.

  12. I was also a strong Hillary supporter, but just because she was not picked for VP does not mean she will not be influential in politics.  I have been hoping she would become attorney general or be appointed to the supreme court, where she would have more influence than as VP.  My support for her was not based on her personality, her gender, or any emotional reason.  I firmly believed in her energy policy, her educational reforms, her vision for an economic turnaround, and I also trusted her foreign policy decisions.  Just because she's no longer in the running doesn't mean I abandon those ideals.  Now, Obama wasn't my guy since I don't think his policies are as coherent and frankly, I believe the man to be a hypocrite, but I'm still voting for him because McCain's plans for our country take us in a different direction than I want to go.  McCain seems like a nice guy (he's got the funny, twisted kinda personality that reminds me of my grandpa), but that's not the reason you select someone as your president.

Look at the issues most important to you.  What is it that you want your president to do?  Then do a comparison chart of the two candidates.  THEN decide to vote Obama or McCain, but please don't choose one over the other for spite.   Hillary wouldn't want you to do that.

PS: I'm not a democrat and feel no need to support  "the party".  I make my decisions based on the issues.

  13. I think this exposes a HUGE weakness that republicans have known about and that liberals have been trying to shrug:  Obama lacks experience.  And THAT is why he picked a 35 year veteran of the Senate as a running mate.  This goes completely AGAINST Obama's entire platform of "change" because all he did was pick another left wing senator who is part of the problem in washington, not the solution.  Nothing has shown Obama's fear of McCain more than this.
