I'd love rugby if not for the stop-start nature of it. Why stop the match for a slight mishandling of the ball? Just play on for fark's sake! Change the damned rules please!

  1. No the ball must not go forward from the hand. Although the rules have been changed. It used to be that if the ball went forward at all (even if you caught it again whilst still in the air by the same player) it was a knock-on. But now it's only if it touches an opposing player or is grounded before being recovered.

  2. I will grant you that scrums are a bit slow and boring but the most annoying thing about watching rugby these days is all the injury breaks. What happened to only stopping if it were a prop at scrum time or if the injured player was in the way. Pisses me off bunch of f#@$%$g pansies.

  3. Thats how the game is played. They cannot break tradition for the sake of making it more entertaining.

  4. Yeah i agree. Some games it seems like there's knock-ons every 5 seconds, but they have changed the rules. Now you'r allowed to use handsin the ruck. That should speed things up a bit.

  5. It is a rule, a rugby law..................same as hand ball in footie!

    You cannot be changing rules!
