Who else is excited for the new eventide series coming out for magic the gathering(MTG)?

I am! I love the new Liege cards, they're extremely powerful!

What are some of your favorite cards from eventide?

I love the Eventide set, and I especially love the Sapling of Colfernor. Who would not like a 2/5 indestructable, beatable Dark Confidant on a stick? Pair it with Doran, the Siege Tower, and the Treefolk Deck might actually work.

(You'd be gaining at least 2 life a turn. This will put a stop to aggro decks. Then, you have Leaf-Crowned Elder, who puts all the cards into play for free, and Orchard Warden to gain you even more life, and on top of all that, there is Doran himself - A virtual 5/5 for THREE MANA.)

Other than that, there is an instant card that gives any number of creatures persist. The new filter lands are cool, too.

I can't wait for the prerelease on Saturaday. I can't play, since I'll be judging, but I'll get two boxes of Eventide for free, and this is one set that I will certainly enjoy.
