Who else is impressed by Marc-Andre Fleury?

I'm a Red Wings fan but I still can't believe how unbeleivable Fleury played last night, hopefully we can score on him tomorrow!

Even for a "former" number one pick you should be impressed by how well he is playing now. Never get that former idea, I mean come on we all know he wasn't drafted this year. Anyway it's great to see him playing the way he was expected to play, and it is rather early in his career for a goalie. I'm a Penguins fan so the only part that bothers me is making sure we'll have the money to sign him. You know most teams would be happy to get him based on how good he played through the playoffs, as well as the bit of time he played at the end of the Regular Season.

WIngs fan here, gonna give credit where it due.  Fleury was AWSOME last night. Last Goalie that wings faced this good was Roy, in his best form.  Hmm,  might rather face Roy come to think of it, his ego was always his downfall : ) .  Fleurry is an awsome goalie, and will be top of his game for years.

The game was pretty much Fluery vs Red Wings.  So considering the circumstances, he didn't play too bad.

MAF was god-like last night.  That was THE best performance I've seen since Hasek had a 70-save shutout win.

he definitely played better than chris osgood last night...i saw only half the game because i fell asleep, but fleury is an excellent goalie and he will be around for a long long time

Yes, Fleury is quite an outstanding goalie.  I am also impressed (as well as pissed that nothing gets passed him).

He was brilliant and I am so happy for him.  He's had some struggles but it's nice to see that it's all coming together for him.

He played really well.  God the wings were in his zone the whole darn night!  I love to see young players emerge, especially if they struggled early on.

I am very surprised and impressed by Fleury...the Wings had so many chances and he just made one save after another.

The Wings can score on him, they just need to make sure they don't score on themselves (*cough* Kronwall...jk that play could have happened to anyone).  All I got to say is thanks to two pretty good goalies, this series has turned very interesting.

The fact that the series is now 3-2 Wings helps a little too.

over 50 saves... how can you not be impressed?

Kid is 23 and stood on his head to keep the Penguins' hopes alive.  Pittsburgh needs to get more than 30 or so shots on Osgood too.  

Anyone think Fleury's performance has to do with the fact that he's playing for a contract next season.  He made $1.6mill this season and this guy is looking to get money when the Pens go to re-sign him.  He is a RFA for any curious puck lovers.
