More money.. billions of dollars.. have been pumped into the economy yet again. Inflation is already bad, and this is getting ridiculous.

It's obvious how I feel about it..

but do you think this is necessary? What do you think the Fed should do? Stop or keep going? Opinions welcome.

  1. stop.it's way better to eat it now than to do it later.it's like buying into that skip a payment option at the bank so they can double your interest on the next one.stupid!

  2. Well, how would you do it?  Economics, especially of inflation, is pretty hard to fix.  You can't stop people from spending money.  By giving people a stimulus package, they hoped people could pay off credit card and housing debt, and would save the rest.  It's pretty complicated, because you have to juggle domestic and international markets,  people's habits (which are impossible to accurately analyze and predict) and many other factors including the value of the dollar.

  3. These are interest bearing "Loans"  not handouts.

Maybe a little research on the Federal Reserve system is in order.

  4. Here's the funny thing. We are letting them do it!

If you stop to think, they work for us! The American people have forgotten that and has let "them" do what they want. When will enough be enough and "We The People" take our country back! That's probably a better question.

  5. I'm no expect on the economy by any stretch, but it seems to me to simply be another move in the ever more slippery slope of socialism that this country has been on for a while now. It fits right into the mind set of no consequences for ones actions - a premise which the lawyers have established by constantly seeking out the "deep pockets" to try and eliminate the responsibility for our actions and always finding someone else to blame.

The lending institutions in this country knew the risks - they decided to take these risks - and now they want me to bail them out.

    It's ridiculous.
