  1. Yeah, I don't have anything against making money but that was lame especially after announcing a release date.  Personally I think it's going to backfire- people are going to lose interest with so long (2 years?) between movies- especially since in my opinion anyway the movies have gone downhill since #3.  Seems the whole Thanksgiving/Christmas season would be as good time as any for pulling in the $$$.

  2. i am gutted i love harry potter! i can't wait until next july! =(

  3. Sucks

  4. I guess everyone in HP community are.

For those who haven't heard the news yet, Warner Bros has moved the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie from Nov 21, 2008 to July 17, 2009. According to Warner President, this move was brought about by last winter's 100 day Writer's Guild strike..

  5. I am really upset! I know that this question has been asked alot, but I can't help myself either! I mean I can't believe that they're so greedy that they'd rather make more money than to please the waiting fans. I can't believe that just weeks after they put out the trailer for the movie, they announced that they are going to wait till the summer to put the movie out on the big screen, and all just for money! I mean I don't even feel like going to see it, I don't want those greedy jerks to have my money! I think I might just wait for the movie to come out on DVD to watch it.

  6. I hate "wintery feel" because it's cold, drab and annoying.

They're making this movie for profit, just like they made all the other movies.  Just like everybody else makes movies.  So you're going to have to wait a few extra months to see the movie.  It's not going to kill you.  Grow the h**l up.

  7. I am still mad about it.  I will go see Twilight in November instead.  I will just have to wait for Harry and Ron.

  8. I think most people have gotten over it.  People are moving on to the fact that they'll get to watch it in the summer, wait in line in the warmth, instead of the cold, it'll weed out the not so real fans, they'll be waiting for other summer blockbusters.
