  1. Same thing at the ice skating rink during the winter olympics. People are predictable SHEEP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Man, you missed the point.

Phelps performance is supposed to inspire people.  I was once a novice swimmer and so were you.

Get over it and support your fellow swimmers.  They'll be better than you in a  month if you don't shape up your attitude.

Encourage them and give them support and advice.

  3. You should be more accepting of newcomers. They have right to stary swimming and gradually get better just like you did. There is no reason to say that all these people are bad just because they just started. You weren't good when you started were you? Thats what I thought. Stop being a jerk and get over yourself.

  4. in a week or two

  5. as soon as the olympic phase of the olympics is over things should get better. Next week starts the track and field sessions. then the swimmers will be old news. Just be patient, if this doesnt fix it, then give it another week and the olympics will be done with all together.

  6. probably will die down after the olympics... but i don't blame them for wanting to be just like phelps cuz he's totally awsome.... i wish i could meet that guy :-)

  7. Just because someone has inspired them to dream big does not mean they suck.

  8. "who else is sick of all these band-wagon swimmers?"

Problably jerks like you. You most likely do not get what sports is all about-you do not have doog sportsmanship. But that's ok, i bet you many of them will be better than you!

I started swimming late and now am on a masters swim team competing and having fun-that's what this is all about-so it is not them that's is a problem but people with attitude like yourself.

  9. when the olympics are over. duh. but it might take a while. maybe like 1-3 months after the olympics have ended. by then, anybody who isn't genuinely interested in that sport will have dropped it and move on to the next fad in their lives.
