Its like they think she was some kind of saint. Now, she did do plenty of good works. But so does plenty of other people, including the Prince of Wales who is the traditional villan in her life's story.

True, Charles did plenty in their marriage that he was/is not proud about. But you think Saint Dianna didnt? It takes two people. She was human just like everyone else.

  1. Much as the Queen,Prince Phillip ,Charles and Camilla would like  to never hear her name again the point is she is mother the future king she was loved by many and we aren't about to forget her.

    See there is a glaring difference between Diana and Charles he is still alive and got to marry the women he loves and see his sons grow to men Diana didn't so don't begrudge her being remembered by those that did love her.

  2. She knew before the marriage that Charles was probably not the man for her.  She wasn't educated, she was young & immature - but she still knew she wanted to be Princess of Wales.

    Her one qualification was that she was a virgin.  I hope that's a rule that won't be enforced when it comes time for William to marry - enough lives were ruined for the procurement of a maidenhead.

  3. I'm really tired of hearing about it.  People should just let her rest in peace.

  4. I agree, lets just all stop talking about her now.

  5. Im bored with five things about the Diana story:

    1) the tone that she was some sort of saint;

    -- she wasn't. She was human and had her faults. Let's not forget the men she dated while still married. And after her marriage, it was Diana who hid in the bushes outside a London art dealer's house, trying to see him and get him to leave his wife!

    2) that she was young and niave.

    -- come on, she was the daughter of an Earl! She grew up in a 270-room palace. She knew what she was getting into.

    3) that only she among the royals had any feelings or did/do anything for others;

    -- long before he had met Diana, Charles set up the Prince's Trust to help inner city kids get a leg up. Long before anyone heard of micro-credit or lending, he was helping deserving kids get small sums of money to complete their education or launch a business or career.

    4) that Charles is a bad dad;

    -- look at how the boys, the Princes, react to their father. It's lovingly.

    5) that she was murdered.

    -- why can't people accept that driving at high speed with a drunk driver and not wearing a seatbelt is a guarantee of a deadly outcome?

  6. I agree. I can see how Charles looks the villian, cause she was so young when they married. But she got what she wanted. She went from being a nobody to be the peoples princess. She had whatever she wanted. Unlimited clothes, travel, hairdressers. She knew what she was getting in when she married him. She did do a lot of good work-but it was really her name that brought the money in. All she had to do was show up. She had it made. Men were flocking just to sit beside her. I felt for her-but when all is said and done she wasn't as innocent as everyone let on. She sleep with quite a few men. At least Charles had only one.

  7. I think that it just makes money so they keep it going.

    I don't really get tired of hearing about her.  I think more facts are coming to light.  Or maybe it's the first time , that we are seeing a different side presented.   Interesting is that a lot of Brits do believe that she was done away with and can't comprehend why we still talk about it.   It is kind of the way , that we Americans here that our government spent 1M on a washer (whatever the figure was)  that should have cost 19 cents.  We just laugh / giggle / brush it off .  We are so used to it here , expect them to be corrupt , that we just laugh.  I mean what a reaction ,  to laugh , when they are stealing.

    Seems governments around the world do "get away with murder"  so to speak.

  8. okay, for one, Charles cheated on Diana with his current ugly wife Camille.  I believe that he set it up so that the car that was taking her home would crash and then he would have Diana out of his way.  he is selfish and I strongly dislike him.  and I dont blame William and Harry for not wanting to be around him. Diana was a saint and she deserves all the media she gets.  if you dont like it, tough, live with it.

  9. Have you ever noticed that the people who do not believe in conspiracy theories are always shouted down by those who prefer to live in a time warp??? Let the poor lady go and let the boys get a life I say.

  10. Let the woman rest in peace. I'm like you sick and tired reading questions on this about the late Diana Princess of Wales.

  11. If you are so pissed off don't watch the news, or complain to William and Harry, they love their mother. I wouldn't neccessary go as far as say she was a saint, but she was quite an extraoridinary person in life and death. And she must've been a great mother because the princes praise her so much, even in light of their father marrying his long time mistress.
