A Lucifer Commentary

I was the light in darkness

I was the song in silence

but curiosity drove me crazy

and became my downfall

I hoped to see the future

now I’ll see it burning

I wished to be the singer

but curiosity drove me crazy

I paid for all my questions

I lost my place in Glory

I fell into a shadow

when curiosity drove me crazy

I am the one who invented lunacy

I am he who bore the label

of rebel and collaborator

and my curiosity

My gift

drove me to my curse

The throne of a Devil

and curiosity drove me crazy…

-I know it is not my best but I felt left out of the Devil Loop…

  1. Curiously, it is not bad!  Could not jealousy by the word?  I liked: " My gift, drove me to my curse, The throne of a Devil"

You done got your licks in on the Devil train!

  2. You remind us

    of wheat we

    should never

    forget.

    Our demon

    was once

    an angel.

    And we,

    we are,

    what we have always been,

    human,

    with the capacity

    to fly,

    or fall.

  3. I have never written a poem about Lucifer but I did make a video documnetary on Lucifer, on youtube. It's called living with lucifer. A little research project I did. I laughed at the end, because curiosity almost drove me crazy awhile back. You got to know when to limit yourself, and how much you accept, and don't. I felt this poem was a statement, not the best, but still honest, and fun to read.

  4. One could say your in a devilish mood this morning!!  Good idea trade your devil loop for a bowl of fruit loops!  Don't know what made me say that LOL can you think of who?  Great poem!!Cheers !!!

  5. Dude! Grannyjill admitted...well, you should be flattered. This is amazing, and now I'm considering writing a Lucifer poem, the angel of light, and all that jazz. This is truly beautiful, and you remembered that he was the angel who sang the song of the morning, highest among them in heaven.

  6. Much simpler than mine, but very worthy nevertheless.  I think you know a great deal more about Lucifer then me....I just read up on him on the web!  I'm beginning to feel quite sorry for the old devil.
