First he says that he could beat Michael Phelps in swimming, now he wants to legally change his name to Ocho Cinco, which doesnt even mean 85 it means 8-5, and what if he gets traded? What will he do when he gets a new number? Change his name again? He sounds like a fool to me. Anyone else agree? Or got any other dumb things that man has said or done?

  1. He's got a s***w loose, that's for sure!!

  2. Listen, you shouldn't take Chad Johnson that seriously.  he was kidding about the Michael Phelps thing and I laughed yesterday when he said it on PTI.  I never thought anyone would take that seriously, but...here we are.  Anyway, the guy likes to have fun and everything about him is fun.  Next time when you hear Chad, just laugh at him and move on......that what he wants you to do.

  3. he's cocky and arrigant i hate him he wears a jacket that says future hall of fame on the back. He's retarted too lol i wonder if he would change his name again. probably.

  4. I think he is funny

  5. hes not to much different than T.O was when he first started and he was an idiot but now that he has matured i kinda see him a little better. johnson will mature in the same way when he realizes football wont last forever and he doesnt want to be remembered as an idiot.

  6. Never thought about it. However, I am pretty sure a guy that makes millions a year is not concerned about your opinion.

  7. i think he is awesome and hilarious. how many people would actually race a horse? and win too. yea so his spanish isnt all that great but everyone knows ocho cinco is 8 5. if he gets traded he can buy the #85 off someone.

  8. I can't stand the man.  He has been a distraction to his team since he has been there.  he is one of the best receivers in the game, but his antics off the field are ridiculous. The latest thing with phelps is stupid.  he is just a spoiled star that says all this stuff to get more attention.  I hope he does change his name, and gets traded.  It would be great to see him in another number after the name change.  Punk!

  9. Everything he says and does is to get himself more publicity. Don't blame him because you fell for it.  You use the Ocho Cinco name he game himself, so exactly how dumb is he if it all works?

  10. I totally agree. I cant stand him. But how can you expect anything else from this guy. I know athletes need to be self-confident or else they wont be successful. But he is ridicules. He needs to get over himself. I don't care if you are the best of all time in your sport.Have some humility.

  11. He is a very gifted receiver and personally if I was half as good as him I would be a tad bit ignorant to. He always has 1,000 yd seasons, so until he slips up and can't play anymore let him be ignorant. I personally find it kind of funny. P.S. Ocho Cinco sounds better than Ochenta y cinco.

  12. He's just another great player that can't shut up.But i think ppl are getting to the point where ,they just do care what he has to say anymore.

He will never care about the team ,Its all about him.Chad is nothing but a attention w***e!!

  13. Chad Johnson obviously loves and craves the attention.  No one can really argue that, and the media will give it to him because it's entertaining and to some extent, controversial.  But he's also over the top intentionally.  Clearly he doesn't believe he's got a couple friends from Liberty City that could beat Michael Phelps.  That's just ridiculous.  And obviously he's not changing his name to Ocho Cinco. He does this for the attention and nothing more.  He might be kind of crazy, but he's not delusional.

  14. well he's not there to look smart honey... he's there to play FOOTBALL!

  15. Um... everyone.

  16. There was a story on the Fox Sports web site about him and his off season antics. It turns out that a well know defensive player from a team other than his own took him aside and gave him some friendly advice about being a team player and that in order for him to lead he needs to do it by example not by running his mouth. He has a great QB to catch passes from and if the Bengals defense can be half way decent they have to tools to reach the playoffs. Not long after that he's in camp and trying to lead by example according to his coach Marvin Lewis despite a slight problem with an ankle. I saw him play against the Packers Monday night and even though it was just a preseason game he looked like a different player by blocking and even running crossing routes not just fly patterns. Sure he has gold teeth and maybe a few tattoos but for an NFL player that's not so unusual. He reminds me of T.O. but look what T.O. has become or even Randy Moss they grew up maybe it's Chad's turn to do the same.
