Who else thinks Nastia Liukin deserved gold, however they awarded China the gold for the same exact score?

They should have gotten both golds. But they followed the rules. I haven't seen the routines, but heard that Nastia landed perfectly and He didn't. Maybe the scores should have been different? Don't know until I watch.

We'll see.  

Also it used to be that the prelim scores were used, darn to bad it wasn't still that.  In a few years, we'll find out the true age of the Chinese gymnast and if justice is served, they should be stripped of their medals anyway.

yes it's been a mess with the scoring, if China can forge passports then they def can pay off judges and i think thats whats happening right now.

The scoring was fair. that was the rule and it was followed.

even though it stinks. but it's the rule so we just gotta deal with it and stop complaining.

Why is it that they don't give gold to both gymnasts? They do it in other olympic sports.

However, if you disagree with this, Nastia Liukin did do a better routine. He did not stick her landing, like Nastia did. Nastia's legs also did not come apart during her routine. She was judged unfairly and deserved gold.

They followed the international guideline for ties and China got the gold. Stop being a bad sport and just accept it.

They both deserved gold. It just came down to the tie breaker and unfortunately Nastia was a little unlucky.

I think she deserved gold! Her scores were exactly the same as the other gymnast and it went to the tiebreaker but she was lowballed by a couple tenths from the Australian judge and it was lost in the third tie breaking method. I have been noticing that the judge has been giving lowballed scores to her through the whole competition. This article below explains it all and it is excellent that they are actually calling out the judges on this. However if they are not lodging a protest then I guess you just have to accept it. Nastia seems to have accepted that is how it is. Sad it is being judged by a computer and the judges are not being held accountable.

The whole scoring system seems a little strange.  Someone please explain to me how a Chinese gymnast can fall to her knees during a dismount on vault & still beat Alicia Sacramone?
