In the uneven bars, I think she did a lot better than that Chinese girl. What do you'll think?

  1. I sure do.First of all nastia was way better then that chinesse girl.second that was a dumb way of breaking the tigh

  2. Fully robbed. No doubt about it. Not as bad as Alicia Sacramone though. Did you see how she was robbed?

  3. Who think that Atlanta 1996, American Devers robbed Jamican Ottey of Women 100m Gold even both tie 10.94s?

Who think that Athens 2004, American Paul Hamm robbed Koreans Kim Dae-eun and Yang Tae-young of Men Gymnastics Men All-Round Gold due to wrong marking?

  4. she did a little bit better than the Chinese girl who got the bronze medal, but she did worse than Kexin, He.

She didn't deserve the same score with that Chinese girl

  5. i think she was robbed. even though fei cheng fell on her kness she got better points

  6. Robbed

    stolen

    bamboozeled.

    hood-winked

    etc

  7. The only thing unfair about it was that BOTH gymnasts should've gotten gold medals.  They scored the same, and there's no good reason to break the tie.  But the decision to break ties in gymnastics was made by the IOC, not the FIG.  So it's the IOC's fault that Nastia did not come away with a gold medal on bars.  It's NOT the judge's fault; it's NOT the FIG's fault; and it's NOT He Kexin or China's fault.

  8. I think they did equally as well, but I believe they both should've gotten the gold.  The tie breaking system is definitely flawed.  I think a REAL way to determine who gets gold and silver, would be to re-do their routines and have it rescored.  Whoever does better, gets the gold.  Like a rematch.

Just throwing out a score is pretty lame and taking the easy way out.

  9. Nastia got robbed in the sense that she, too, should have gotten a gold medal. but since the rules dont allow that its the RULES fault not CHINA's.

I mean I think everyone can have different opinions on whether kexin or nastia did better but no one has the right to call chinese cheaters whatsoever.

Americans have this issue where they don't mind cheating others of gold but immediately start whining and blaming and pointing fingers once their own athlete happens to get what in their opinion is "robbed"

  10. Why noone mention about the Chinese bronze medalist got massive underscored on execution? If you watched her performance, you cannot pick any major mistake and yet she only got 8.9xxx on execution. It is still a mystery on why she got such a low score. Everyone thought she will be the gold medalist after she performed. It is the biggest disappointment of the night, not Nastia tie breaking defeat. Even Nastia agreed that the bronze medalist was underscored.

May be NBC did not show the performance of bronze medalist at all?

So go ahead, revoke the judgments, switch the Gold and bronze medalists and Nastia will still be silver medalist

  11. The judges were paid to do that.

  12. I think everybody need to go back to see the 6 scores given for Liukin and He kexin. Yang yiling too. Then u will know how bad the judges are.(Poland and another one from East europe).

Anyway, congratulations on all the three girls. Excellent jobs they did!!!!

    Wonderful performance!!!!!

  13. Anybody with houndedd knowledge of gymnastics knows that two of eastern european judges gave unfair high scores to Liukin.  I believe they were corrupted through Liukin's father.  Liukin should have been the brondz rather than silver.  What a shame!  And then I see here a group of ignorant people without any gymnastics knowledge are shamelessly claim the opposite.   USA is going down just because of more and more losers.  Yes, that's YOU.

  14. I dont think so. Instead i think Liukin robbed one gold metal.

See the scores, high scores were all from east european countries.I like Shawn much more, because she got what she should get(sometimes got underscore when there was Liukin in the same match ) .But Liukin....hehe......i am just wondering how much she would get if she is not the daughter of her famous father.

  15. I think that Nastia deserves that medal a lot more than He Kexin.

  16. I dont think Liukin was robbed!!! If you looked at how she dropped down, she wasnt doing good, esp her 2 legs were open too wide. Plus, while she did the standup on the bar,she stopped for a while and you r not supposed to do that in the uneven bars. And wht did the judges did to her? I think she only derserved a bronze, coz Yiling Yang did better than her,and u cant even find a mistake of what she did.

Shame on her huge wide open leg!!!!

  17. Nastia was totally robbed!

  18. OH MY GOD! SHE WAS SO ROBBED! I think we should complain about this on Y! Answers all day.

  19. i agree with peter n.

i can barely talk about it, it makes me so mad.

the guilt would eat me alive if i knew i had to lie about my age to "win" a gold medal, much less get into the olympic trials in the first place.

something is not right with the judging, the chinese are getting way overscored in all of the women's gymnastics events.

  20. Yup, she sure enough did.  It was totally unfair.  I think if they are not giving two gold medals they should have a rematch and we would see who is best again.  Nastia should have won.

  21. I agree. The Chinese are getting overscored for routines in which they make mistakes (like falling)

  22. No. I don't think that she was robbed. If anything, Yang, the Bronze holder will get the gold. Do the math

    Name A  B1(AUS)  B2(POL)  B3(NZL)  B4(RSA)  B5(BRA)  6(BUL)A+B

    HE     7.70  9.30     9.10        9.10       8.90        9.00      8.90  16.725

    LIUKIN7.70 9.00      9.30       9.00       8.80         9.00     9.10   16.725

    YANG7.70  8.90     9.00       8.90       9.00         9.10      8.80   16.650

When Liukin complained about the Australian judge, she should have also acknowledged that the Polish judge and Bulgarian judge tried their very best to secure a medal for her. If anybody questions her 1.0 deduction, can you please point out where Yang got her 1.10 and 1.20 deduction from the Polish and the Bulgarian judges? Do the math and answer yourself.

By the way, splitting legs that wide in a dismount will get a huge deduction. Liukin didn't get deductions from her all around routines, and she should have been more grateful. You compare her dismount to Shawn Johnson's and you'll see the difference.

  23. As a life long lover of gymnastics, I think the point being missed here is that the Australian judge deducted a FULL POINT from Nastia Liukin’s score. The ONLY WAY to get a half point deduction is to A) Fall OFF THE BARS, or B) FALL when YOU DISMOUNT the bars. As she did neither of these things, that paid off fake judge Nellie Kim should have stepped in right away and said that this was NOT LEGAL SCORING! Therefore, Nastia would have had a higher score and been the undisputed Gold medalist. As the Gold Medalist made 3 total mistakes, and Nastia made only 2, neither a fall, she should have had the higher score. She should have had maximum (if both mistakes were deducted .3), or minimum, (if both mistakes were deducted .1) anywhere from .4 to .8 higher score. Everyone knows Nellie Kim was paid off, but when it is this glaringly obvious, someone else should step in. That is what happens when countries who have never had a good gymnast get to judge, and the judge that is supposed to make sure it is fair judging has a new car.

  24. The whole world--other than China--thinks so!!  GOD!  They're all gettin robbed by the Chinese people!

    :]

  25. There shouldn't even have been a tie-breaker! Nastia was unfairly judged. Actually, the whole gymnastics competition was bias toward the chinese.

  26. I think she at least deserved to share the gold. the 3rd tiebreaker was rediculous because it meant the most lenient judges decided the gold medalist. if you tie, that should mean you share the award, not get bumped down by a tiebreaker rule that was picked out of a hat.

  27. I have answered about 100000000 questions on the same thing already but thanks for the points
