  1. Well I am kind of on both since I hate animal cruelty but you have to get the proteins, and even if we stop there will be too much of everything that there is no space in the world for others and the world will get to heavy and that will move it slightly to the sun causing even more global warming affects and then it will cause the Arctic and Antarctica to melt and all those penguins and polar bears and seals will die .and we will be roasted to death and OMG we will die oh how I love scaring people in this way but what I am typing is true I tell ya true!

PS: That was the best 5 minutes I ever spent.

PSS:I am against hunting for pleasure but not hunting for survival.

  2. wow you're pathetic

  3. It's called the food chain. We humans, as part of our natural diet, eat meat. Logic dictates that in order to eat meat, it must be hunted first. Therefore, no.

  4. Not me. We are overrun with white tailed deer here. But hunting in a residential area is obviously unsafe, so it isn't allowed.

  5. if so, The rats and mice would over run you home! If it`s o.k. with you, it`s o.k. with me

  6. I think hunting for SPORT ALONE should be banned.  It is morally and ethically wrong.  That being said, hunting to decrease overpopulation, hunting in cases of pandemics (ie rabies, swine flu, anthrax, the plague, etc.) or hunting for food (as long as ALL PARTS - meat, hide, bones, etc) would be ok in LIMITED quantities, IF done RESPONSIBLY (a lot of people seem to 'forget' that little qualifier).

  7. Unless and until animals are diseased and cannot be treated or there is no other alternative only then they should be hunted down.

Humans don't need to hunt animals, animals have their own hunters i.e carnivorous animals.

Also because we are no longer stone age people who need to hunt for food.

It is also a fact that we will not die if we don't eat meat.

There are so many alternatives to meat. It is all about what the tongue wants. The tongue here in case is addicted to meat.

Meat itself is not good for health as it causes lots of diseases especially bush meat.

Hunting is more harmful when people tend to hunt for leisure or trophies.

Hunting has also become commercialized like that of fishes, whales etc which is causing their population to decline. Do these hunters think that what will they hunt when all are gone ?

At the first place hunters are the one's who are responsible for a great lot of extinction of so many species. A very big example is the tiger - it has been hunted so much that it is now on the list of endangered animals. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_hunti...

Even common species are becoming endangered , THANKS TO HUNTERS !!!!

The areas where a certain animals species has increased is because of the hunting of their predators which is the result of over hunting of their predators etc.

My comments will not appeal to many but i think hunting be it for leisure, food, medicines, skin etc. has taken a Toll on so many species - DO WE STILL NEED TO HUNT ??

  8. I personally would never hunt or be able to shoot an animal..but I am not against hunting if it is done legally. Hunting IS actually a form of wildlife management. It also puts LOTS of money back into protecting wildlife. Most hunters are environmentalists..they do not want to kill everything as this would leave them nothing to hunt. They understand the balance of nature and work with it. Also, hunting preserves natural habitats. Because hunting brings in big money...large wild areas are preserved for hunters. Without hunters these areas would most likely be plowed and mini-malls or condos would be put in their place. Also, hunters actually save the lives of millions of birds each year. Duck/hunting clubs provide habitat and food not only for waterfowl, but many shorebirds, and songbirds as well. While the hunters may shoot a couple thousand ducks throughout the season, thousands more who would have starved otherwise without the shelter, habitat and food the hunters provide, survive and thrive. Like I said..this resting place/habitat would NOT exist if not for hunters.

  9. the fees that hunters pay, pays for most of the reserves and helps build more wild areas, like ducks unlimited and many angling groups that rehabilitate many streams and ponds.

  10. Not many. Humans are part of nature. We are mammals. We just do it more efficiently. Will you stop the coyotes from killing the rabbits? How about the cats killing mice and squirrels are you taking up that cause too? It's a mammal killing a mammal so it can eat it. That's what we do get over it.

  11. No, not all.

In many cases, hunting helps keep animal populations sustainable and prevents very destructive species from completely from overrunning a habitat, or starving.  In some cases humans must do the work of predators who've already been eliminated by development or hunting.

When there are too many rats  in some areas, that spells extinction for many bird species (whose eggs the rats eat) If coyotes or wolves wipe out the deer population in a region and are forced to start looking for food around the outskirts of cities, that's bad news for everyone- especially pets and small children living there.

Asian carp and snakehead fish have invaded freshwater lakes in the USA (probably original kept as exotic pets but then released into the wild)  and now threaten to destroy many indigenous species.

Endangered species we should continue to protect and help bring their numbers back up to sustainable levels.  But it's a constant balance that must be maintained, and hunting sometimes helps.

  12. No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hunting is very important as it is a management tool to control the wildlife numbers, especially on game ranches in South Africa. Hunting also generates money that is used to breed and protect endangered animal species. A good example is the regulated hunting of rhino in South Africa. Since controlled hunting of rhino has been allowed the rhino populations has experienced a population boom. Adding value to wildlife helps save them.

  13. At least hunted animals have had the opportunity to live as nature intended.  As a vegetarian, I think it is pretty disgusting that people manage to turn a blind eye to the conditions that many animals endure before becoming a hamburger, a steak, nuggets, etc.

Before the conservation & environmental movements kicked in, it was funds from hunting licenses that kept a lot of habitat open and undeveloped.  Think about that.

  14. Sorry, not everyone wants to be a vegetarian.

    I love my meat.

  15. I do and I don't.

  16. No hunting of wild life and animals for sheer pleasure.

We are no longer "food gatherer and hunter"

    thnks

  17. Sorry, but you have to kill it to grill it.

  18. Not me.  Humans have been hunting for million of years, we are as much a part of the ecosystem as the animal preditors.  The result of the declines in human hunting are often overpopulation and animals dieng from stravtion and disease.
