  1. yes i do agree that was the best show ever i never missed one single show  i would love it if my kids were able to see it i loved going to the library and getting the books from the show and reading them it was fun the shows now a days are just mindless entertainment to distract kids from being on the play stations and to encourage stupidity  bring back the good old shows that were educational and fun

  2. I always see reading rainbow on in the afternoon.

  3. It wouldn't be the same if they made a new one.  All of PBS's kids shows are going down the crapper.

  4. From what I've noticed, remakes always stink. Maybe they should just re-air their old episodes. But I'm pretty sure they do...

Anyways, they probably have it out on DVD. Good luck!

  5. It's on in the morning where we live.

I do think it could be remade/updated though. It's a great show.

  6. I REALLY wish that butterfly song hadn't been mentioned~~how am I going to fall asleep with THAT going through my head tonight?! LOL!

Reading Rainbow was OK, and yes I've still seen the old episodes on now. I'd like to see it updated a bit definitely. I also loved Mr. Rogers Neighborhood too though and that one can't be remade I'm sure. As long as Sesame Street stays on, I'll be good! We need more shows like that for the kids these days. Way too much violence and stupidity on the satellite these days.

  7. i think they should just show the old ones. for some reason i always sing that song when i swing with my daughter at the park....the butterfly in the sky song.....now you got me missing the show too =)

  8. When I was little I loved that show! You and me should go on a strike hon.
