Who else thinks secret life of the american teen is stupid?

everyone has been raving about how great and addictive the secret life of the american teenager [tv show] it is,

so i'm watching it as we speak.

AND IT IS SO STUPID!

life is not like that at all.

her family is insane; particularly her grandmother.

it's unrealistic, and has a very slow and not well written plot.

DON'T COMMENT SAYING HOW MUCH YOU LOVE IT.

i wanna know other peoples opinions against it; best one gets 10 points.

My review of it is that the show is an incredibly addicting drama with slightly bad acting and very annoying characters. However, I find myself watching it every Tuesday night. :D Sad, huh?

I like it, but yeah, if that really happened everyone would react differently then that, i think, and her family is a bit insane. The plot really isn't that good. I agree with you, but I still like it, somehow.

yes. this show is RIDICULOUS. sadly, i watch it. but, i just watch it to get a good laugh. it is so unrealistic and corny. there isn't one story line that isn't based around s*x. i actually laugh out loud during the really serious parts. like when amy says "SINCE I GOT PREGNANT" after ricky asked when she started to be able to speak for herself. plus, the acting is really crappy. you pretty much summed it up with "it's unrealistic, and has a very slow and not well written plot" i mean. they want to get married. they are 15 and have been going out for, what? a month? ridiculous. oh yeah. and it's called the secret life of the american teenager. what, every american teenager has the life she has? they all get pregnant at band camp when they are 15 and then want to marry some guy (who's not even the father) after dating them for a month. yeah. that sounds EXACTLY like my life.
