I just think it's an extra day you get when it's a leap year. Nothing magical about it, it's just science. It's necessary to keep the calendar year we've devised in sync with the astronomical year, or the actual time it takes for the earth to complete one full orbit around the sun.

On February 29th, 2004, I could have sworn I that my friend lost 100lbs.  Creepy, isn't it?

If you believe it is a magickal day, then it is. I suppose it could be viewed in that way the same as a Blue Moon. Since it is a day that only occurs every four years, it might be possible to do some sort of special magick on this day.

I would think that anyone born on Feb. 29 would think it's pretty special. A birthday every four years.

Maybe magical for people whose birthdays come on that day. Just think how many people mention those people on this day. If they all said "Happy Birthday" to them...maybe they'd have a super duper feeling of happiness on that day. Just think of this..if everybody in the world said a prayer for everyone with a birthday on that day! Wonder what would happen....if they would "feel " it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL THE LEAP YEAR BABIES!! They're lucky they don't have to tell their real age anyway!!
