  1. I do!!!!!!!!!!

  2. it does taste like it was recently frozen. like a lean cuisine or something.

  3. I work there.  Only a few things are actually microwaved.   Mussles Di Napoli, Manicoti, brocolli and any hot desserts.  The majority of the food is frozen at some point, gets thawed then dipped to boiling water to bring it back to temp.  pasta is pre-cooked, cooled, then reheated in boiling water.  Sauces and soup are made from scratch though.  Our alfredo sauce is made fresh every day.  Meats are frozen then thawed.

In short, it's not 5-star but it's also cheap food so what do you expect?  You can eat for 2 for 30 bucks and if you're in a hurry you can get most dishes in less then 10 minutes if you are really in a hurry.  How many sit-down restaurants can you say that about?

  4. I hate it. They microwave their chicken parm. I hated working there. It smells really bad in the kitchen. Definetly worst ever.

  5. I think the service was great but there food was really nasty. I made the mistake of going back and trying something different and it was nasty as well. They get a thumbs down from me

  6. I agree---it's nasty.  But anyone who goes there has to  (or should) know it's a chain restaurant and that they're not going to be getting fresh/gourmet food.  Some people think it's a really big nice night out because they're going to the Olive Garden, and that's okay for them.

Personally, I go for a nice, local place that's unique and who use fresh ingredients and one that you don't see in every single city and suburb in the U.S.

To each his own, I guess.

  7. Olive Garden in without a doubt worth its money. All the salads and soups are made fresh everyday. All the sauces are made from scratch in the kitchen and frozen then thawed in boiling water. They are a good company and also good to their employees. Don't be so harsh.

  8. They are just a little better than MCD.

  9. no way...

    their breadsticks are so yummy

  10. They Are ! =D

Did you know 3 guys jacked off in a ladies fettucini alfredo

becasue she wanted it warmed up.. She ended up in the Hospital with Chlamydia later that night.. 3 guys got fired..

Then they automatically charge you for a tip if you have 8 ppl there.. then the waitresses do nothing

  11. I don't, I like it.

  12. Personally I don't hate it  being half italian it's not that great.  I am from an area where italian restauraunts are actullay run and owned by italians with real itailan food. Those are the best places if you want true italian food.  I work at Chili's so everything we make is not from the microwave and frozen.  Our salads are  fresh all the meats are cooked to order and the ribs are smoke allday.  The cooks arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. every morning to make sure were ready to go for lunch.

  13. it's one of the better chain restaurants. awesome soup, bread, alfredo and i love the calamari and chicken marsala. the wine selection is good too. it's not fine dinning, so don't judge so harshly, sheeesh!

  14. Absolutely not.  Olive Garden is great for what it is.  Its a chain restaurant a couple of notches above fast food.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Its not authentic italian food and sure hope they don't claim to be.  But the food is tasty and the restaurant is cute and clean.  OG is perfectly fine as long as you know what you're dealing with. In other words, don't think for a moment that they flew in Uncle Luigi from Naples to perfect their recipes.

  15. Is this true? The food's so good. I love it.

  16. Olive Garden and Red Lobster...two of the worst in the business.

  17. I've always had good food and service there.

  18. A lot of chain restaurants have operated that way for years.

You would have to be pretty dumb to think that a restaurant prepares your meal from scratch when you enter it.

Pizza Hut and Little Caesers mass prepare their biggest selling pizzas in certain markets so that when you call, they just stick it in the oven.  They do this for a couple of reasons....so every time Sally calls for a deluxe pizza, Billy doesn't break the bank giving her triple pepperoni at no extra cost, and to save time.

Chains like Chilis, Applebees, Red Lobster (all the Darden restaurants for that matter) mass produce their best selling meals and freeze them for the same reason (ensure consisten portion size, decrease preparation time during meal hours etc).

It's not frozen food like a frozen dinner, but it is mass produced food which is frozen prior to ending up on your restaurant table.

  19. They are OK. Great salads and breadsticks, and I like their menu. Suppose you could have a bad experience with any restaurant.

By the way, the s***n in the food story is a myth. Cute story just did not happen. See Snopes.com

  20. not even! its great! i wish there was one closer to where i live! cheap too!

  21. swag.

  22. It is not what it was when it opened.  I was served burnt lasagna and the waitress gave me nothing but excuses.

  23. Gee. I like Olive Garden , their lasagna, salad and Bread sticks, maybe you had a day when their service and food wasn't good

  24. I ate there once a long time ago and it was fairly good as I recall.

  25. Their breadsticks are bomb so dont hate.
