Gore was cherry picking which counties to recount.

For some reason when i think of this election i think of what happened to Gore... he won the popular vote but didnt win the electoral college vote... the republicans will do anything they can to keep him from office unfortunately... so it wouldnt surprise me if that happened...

with all those fake, unverifiable electronic voting machines in many battleground key states, it is a scary thought. And yes, they can be pre-programmed and renders your question (and fear) quite valid. But it won't be a landslide--that would look even more suspicious....as karl rove's playbook states, it just takes 1 vote to win, so look for exit polls in november to show an obama victory, then look for a mccain "upset" the next morning--just like what happened in ohio in '04.
