Can someone agree with me and say that Paris has one of the worst smelling metro's in the world? It's like sewer and p**s and everything nasty. How do Parisians get used to it?

  1. There are some odors sometimes.  But the worst in the world?  You are really pushing it.  Not by a long shot.  There are far worse.

  2. If the Metro in Paris stinks, this is due to the amazing quantity of people like you who do not brush their teeth, and forget that their ancestors in Europe were harassed exactly on the same racist basis : basically the FIRST thing on which racists make their filthy propaganda, is the theme of "dirtiness" and "stinking"-

Exactly what you're doing - If you were full american, you would not piuke this way on my country - i don't ask you to have the courage to say WHY you practice that belated bashing and who you worship - but it's too clear - when it's coward, it's you.

  3. I'm Parisian and I'm not used to it !!! I also think it stinks.

  4. I wouldn't say that the Métro stinks.  There are a fair number of mechanical odors in the Métro, from brakes, lubricants, etc., and some people find these unpleasant.  Stinky smells, in the sense of organic smells, are much more rare.  When you are actually on the trains at rush hour, it sometimes smells; unfortunately, if even one person in the car has poor hygiene, very often it makes the entire car smell.  But all of this is true for any subway system.
