Who else thinks the Detroit Lions won't go 5-11 this season in the NFL?

This opion section of the newspaper said the Lions will only go 5-11 and described their defensive line as bad. Every time I saw them they were getting sacks and destroying the running game. Also the gave up the least amount of points in the preseason! I think they'll go 10-6. What do you think?

Now that they no longer have a luggage thief ghetto thug (Tatum Bell) on their roster I think they will do better this year. Good Karma has to be on their side now :)

As much as I would love to think the Lions would go 10-6. It's probably not going to happen. I'm not even saying this biased, because *I* am a Lions fan. But I love your support, and I do think we will be better this year, but I think that we're going to miss the playoffs again.

I totaly agree with you. The Lions wont go 5-11.  Cross your fingers and hope they'll make it to 4-12

u know lions have talent, but somehow they just dont find a way to put it all together and have a winning season...i would like to see them have a winning season just for the sake of getting out of the cellar..there division is not that strong this year...the bears really dont have anyone to call a quarterback, minnesota has talent but not a really good or great quarterback, and green bay with aaron rodgers at the helm are a lil bit questionable with him being there starting quarterback because his lack of game experience..so detroit might be able to sneak a few wins in there somewhere....

there not gonna win the north the vikings will. But will go 9-7 or maybe 10-6 and be in the playoffs i have the vikings going 12-4.

ok I am a big Detroit Lions fan. I am not going to be grossly optimistic but I can almost guarantee you they will not go backwards from last year. I say that they will win up until week six then lose to the vikings.I think they will win in week in week 8 over the red skins and again in week 9 and 12 over the bears,  panthers and Buccaneers. Then they have a chance at knocking off the Vikings in week 14 and the Packers in week 17.
