Who else thinks the Earth could have inner cavities that support living ecologies that aliens evolved in?

Does having space ships mean you're from another planet? Does being able to access other dimensions mean you're from another dimension?

  1. What I like about astronomy and space is that its science based. The problem I have with flying saucers and aliens is the LACK of any credible scientific evidence. Just the same blurry shakey photos and video. I used to entertain ufology, but the problem is, no matter how much you delve into it, it always takes you back to where you started.

I much prefer science. It explains the universe and the world and gives us computers and cell phones and rocket ships.

UFO's seem to give us larger conventions of people wearing aluminum foil on their heads.

  2. I don't really have an opinion on that particular region of the earth but I am sometimes puzzled to hear people speculating so much about something that (currently) we have no way study.

Especially when there is a more accessible region right under our noses that holds creatures that would surely seem "alien" to us. It's estimated that our worlds oceans may hold up to 8 million undiscovered species. We've just recently found life in regions around volcanic vents and such that were previously thought to be uninhabitable by any kind of life. It's these discoveries that have allowed us to more seriously entertain the real possibility of life in space. And every time we think we've seen the largest giant squid...his big brother shows up. Just imagine what mama might be!

And if that's not enough, think about how very little we know about the place where our own evolution began?

It's frustrating to me that we often prefer to put our attention on what is currently impossible to know and skip what we CAN know.

  3. Because of the structure of the Earth, this isn't terribly likely.  The crust is about 5 to 25 miles thick, so that is the deepest these cavities could be.  After that is the mantle, which is the semisolid, extremely hot layer that the tectonic plates float on.  It is about 1800 miles deep.

I do believe that "aliens" are real.  The thing that bothers me about the theory that they are from other planets is that they are so similar to us, humanoid anyway.  I don't discount the idea of other dimensions, or even that of their being from the future (evolved from humans).

  4. i dont think so

  5. This is all Fantasy, not Science! Earth's mass is known, so it cannot have inner cavities big enough for life of the type you mention. There is no real evidence that ET aliens have ever been here, and Astronomy and the Theory of Relativity indicate that none can come here. Dimensions beyond 3 are only theoretical, and if there were 4-D creatures, they could not interact with us. You would do better to study real science and stop reading so much fantasy.

  6. If they evolved here, then they are not aliens, but undiscovered life forms. I'm sure there are niches that are filled in our evolution that are filled in unconventional ways, this is proven fact, but you give the assumption that there is also intelligence and possibly highly evolved. I don't believe the life in an inner site would evolve intelligence as we on the surface have. Too many limiting factors.

  7. I find that rather unlikely. Since the mantle is liquid and the core is under extremely high pressure, no cavity could exist farther down than the crust, which is only a few kilometers thick. Scientists have been studying the crust for some time, and although it is home to many strange life forms, all of them are still 'normal' life in that they trace themselves back to the same common ancestor of all terrestrial life. In addition, the deeper underground areas are generally too hostile to support the evolution of intelligent life forms.

  8. it depends because we have space shuttle but we leave on earth!

  9. Does being able to formulate questions mean, you are searching for answers?

What a stupid presentation of believes.

  10. What have you been smoking ? The crust of the earth is about 30-50 miles thick. Below that is molten rock. Did you just watch Journey to the Center of the Earth, or what ?

  11. i guess that there are alot of people thinking that too...

unfortunatly this totally lacks any sense.

but who cares, this is the internet, and people tend to believe any cr*p they read here.

  12. There are other dimensions for a fact, as far as i am concern i believe there is 11 dimensions that we currently know of but cannot see or feel, there is also parallel universes.

Look man im not going to lie to you but it is good to have an open mind but not so open that your brains will fall out, if hypothetically speaking there were such thing as an advance species that was capable of traveling through dimensions or universes, why the h**l would they want to visit or even observe us, we would look like pathetic and premature creatures who still depend on fossil fuels for energy.

i will not say that there is no life elsewhere, but i am almost certain that they are not visiting us atleast not willingly!
