Who else finds it a horrible disservice that I had my "Top Contributor" badge removed for 'insulting' someone?

I give great advice! Sure, sometimes I may answer a question as a joke as opposed to seriously - but holy cow! I called someone a "moron" (because lets be honest, they were...) and they took away my badge!!

Some people need to relax.

This 'self-governing' system is the worse.....I get regularly insulted by a certain troll because I won't be taken in by their nonsense, and yet this person continues to get away with it.....,yet I've seen posts that are well within the guide lines disappear because of some whiny cry baby......I don't report people per se unless the post is way too outrageous, just don't know why the truly flagrant offenders get away with it.....oh well...what we need is an under cover troll cop.....and I liked the badge, too.....

people have gotten to the point where if they don't get the answer they want, they complain and whine.. grow some balls, or thicker skin, and brush it off.. they were probably a moron.. now I wish I had read it...

LOL, who knows why yahoo does what it does, i insulted someones sensibilities yesterday, they whined they cried my account got suspended.

Didn't seem to make much of a difference, I'm back insulting people on answers 2 minutes later.  However i have another goal now, i wanna see how fast i can get 1000 suspended accounts :)

*edit* Btw, top contributer usually means the person has voted for themselves with multiple accounts alot, I guess thats their contribution, one would think they'd just suspend the account instead as having multiple accounts is a violation too.

Oh is that what Yahoo does? My friend is a top contributor and I noticed her badge was gone for a few weeks. I think that's REALLY low. I thought Top Contributor was based on the number of answers you provide not a popularity contest.

I answer questions in a joking manner sometimes myself but I guess with the new stricter community guidelines you have to be really careful.  That badge marked you as a top representative of the Yahoo Answers community and so you were being held to a higher standard than us regular Yahoos.  Also, why do people put best answer gets 10 pts on their questions - best answers always get 10 pts, don't they?

Do people who post stupid questions really think that they are going to get a polite answer?  I think that I am hardest on the women who are like~ "My married boyfriend loves me because I'm pretty, why won't he leave his wife?"

I think that they should judge an "insulting" answer based on how stupid the person asking the question is.  I give great advice also, but I am also brutally honest, so take it or leave it ya know!!

I am on my 14th account for telling it like it is......I've been booted off Answers 13 times!   LMAO!

ADD ON- I also want to point out that I am MORE proud I get booted off because it means I have "Gotten to someone"....that Top Contributer thing is ridiculous because people vote themselves "Best Answer" or have miltiple accounts, answer their own questions and choose themselves Best Answer so their percentage is higher....THOSE PEOPLE ARE LOSERS!
