Who else thinks what arnold did, by cutting state employees pay! is wrong?

don't they realize that saving money now has to be repaid later? wages held back now must be repaid when budget is in place! why make good workers suffer for governments stupidity? and greed?

desparate times call for desparate measures. i would take a pay cut to keep my job. this economy is in really bad shape and this is just one of the realities of our poorly runned government. good question.

There's no money to pay them...That's the point he's making...Between the bad choices the state has made and the illegals sucking out all of the cash through health, school, and other state (and Federal) programs--there's nothing left!

Well, they are talking about making Terminator 4, and Arnold needs to make sure the state has enough money to get by without him watching things during filming!

Well, yes, I do, but I also understand why he did it.  It's to force the legislators to come to a compromise as soon as possible.  But they should have done it to the legislators, not the govt workers.

I think its extreme.  I bet the legislators never thought he would go through with it!  Thats the power of never running for office again...  I bet those employees and their families are burning of the phone lines and inboxes of their state officials.

I think Arnold is crazy!! He should pay for his own fault! What was he doing all this time?  He should get no money from the state and get terminated.

I think it was a brilliant idea to get publicity for the fact that the California legislators can't work hard enough to pass a budget.

I only wish that Arnold could run for president.

Government spending has to be cut when a tax dollar taken out of my paycheck for welfare the welfare mom gets less than 10 cents of it that is wrong.

Those who don't like those working conditions are free to go somewhere else and get a job.

Sorry, but he did the right thing. The highest paid people in the California government aren't doing their job. BLAME THEM!

I hope he sets a precedent for every other state government in the country.

I BELIEVE THAT, BEFORE ANY POLITICIAN CUTS PAY OR JOBS, THEY SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO HAVE TO SACRIFICE. NEVER ASK SOMEONE ELSE TO DO SOMETHING THAT YOU YOURSELF ARE NOT WILLING TO DO. FEWER STATE EMPLOYEES MEANS A SACRIFICE IN SERVICES RENDERED-QUALITY AND QUANTITY WILL SUFFER.
