1. You know deep down, as a loyal Scot, he was probably hoping England would lose.

2. What does he care about rugby? He despises the very middle class people who actually play the game.

3. It was pure opportunism, relishing the chance to have his photos broadcast around the world.

  1. Is it really that important?

  2. he is a twitchier like his bottom lip and twitches like to look

  3. I dont think he would belittle England if they won, they played very well. I myself would have Preferred Scotland, Wales , my own Country Ireland,or France to Win. But since England was the only Country left out of Europe in with a chance of winning  I was hoping they would Win. They played on a Par with South Africa, but things did not go their way in the end. I think they really deserved to win after dragging themselves up from the bottom to get into the Final, I was Disappointed my Commiserations  to England.

  4. What an earth was he doing there? He looked about as popular as a pork pie at a Jewish wedding!

  5. who is he? what happened to Blair?

  6. I think he was the person that stole onto the pitch at the end who shouldn't have been there. What a t***t he looked.Nobody from SA knew who he was.He was completely lost......like he had joined the wrong queue.

  7. oh boo hoo cant you tell your team lost.

Gorden Brown is the PM and had every right to be there.

if you knew what you was talking about you would know the PM ( Gorden Brown ) was a very keen rugby player at school and was blinded in one eye after a very nasty tackle.

    grow up

  8. Never mind Brown. How about Mbeki? He's holding up a trophy from a sports body he despises and has done his best to subvert and destroy. Politicians suck. They are the same all over the world . Bunch of devious parasites interested only in their gain, devoid of any patriotism, they are arms dealers, war mongers, and egotistical deviants and out of touch with the very constituency that put them in power. Brown = Mbeki= Mugabe=Putin=etc.

  9. He is the leader of our conuntry, of course he should be there.

If he hadn't been there would have been another thread whinging on that he doesn't care.

I'm not a big fan of the guy, but in this instance he can't win can he?

  10. He's the Prime Minister of the UK. Every right to be there. He went to Grammar School and onto University - he's as middle class as they come and played rugby as a kid.

  11. All politicians court the limelight.

  12. It was an insult to the English team.....Gorden Brown was just after brownie points and should have stayed away from the limelight.

Did i see William and Harry in the crowd......? they should have been there instead of Gory Gorden....it would have meant a lot more to the england squad.

    But...

    WELL PLAYED ENGLAND.

  13. He is the Prime Minister of Britain, England is part of Britain, (the last I heard) so he had every right to be there.

If England had won, I bet you would have been thrilled to see him  acting like Thabo Mbeki.

Is this sour grapes, or just meanness on your part?

    (And some other answers.)

    Political posts belong in POLITICS:

  14. I know for a fact he wanted you to lose

  15. Revolting............

  16. Me, me, me. That's exactly what I said: I'm disgusted he should be up there.

But... did anyone notice that he was looking a bit out of place as the England rugby boys, although completely disheartened, treated him ever so slightly with contempt? Yay for them.

  17. Ah don't give two s!ts to be honest

  18. I'm insulted to see Gordon Brown anywhere, nevermind the World Cup.

  19. me, he looked like he was lost , just joining a bus queue or something lol

  20. Yeah, all Scots where hoping England would lose, why would he be any different?

  21. He probably thought that Scotland  were still in it.

What sticks in my craw is that if England had won, he would have wanted some of the glory.

  22. He's an ex pro rugby player. Doh

  23. was not disgusted or surprised ,this is what you expect from a bloody useless politician ,,and a liar at that

  24. Hey, watch it. Wasn't his fault England couldn't win. Don't vent your spleen on the old man. He's got enough problems to last three lifetimes.
