Who else with children actually prefers it when the schools are on holiday.?

I have 2 kids (5 & 7years) and i love it when they're on holiday from school

I really do enjoy it, my son is a senior this year and he stays so busy with his studies and with his friends that we don't get to share much time together. Right now it crazy because of senior portraits, graduation invitations and getting all of the honor stoles and cords from all of the activities he has been in. Fall intercession is coming up soon and I hope we will be able to take a trip together he is an only child, I will soon be 44 and by May 2009 empty nest will soon be here.

my mum wishes that i would go back to school as quick as i can but i love to spend time with my mum on holidays but hasn't really ever happened :c

yeah I like having my son home from school too. but after 6 weeks he was bored and wanting to see his friends again. getting up at 7 was a shock to the system yesterday though!

Me too, I have a 5 year old and we both have holidays at the same time because I work in his preschool. So I love it.
