Who ever have gone to Guadalajara,Mexico,tell witch is the best hotel to stay in?

I don't know a lot about hotels in Guadalajara, but I live in Guadalajara (I'm mexican). I'd like the Holiday Inn, because it is close to important things in the city besides it is a well known and nice hotel as everyone knows...

It is in Av. Niños Heroes, it crosses with Av. Lopéz Mateos, you can ask, though. or go for the Hilton that the first guy said, it is for sure a good hotel and in a nice area...

Villa Ganz is a boutique hotel; luxurious and expensive, it´s in the Pink Zone, near avenida Chapultepec and Vallarta. The rooms are just beautiful.

Check out the Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel.  It was ranked number one on TripAdvisor for Guad hotels.  Link below.  It's actually in Tlaquepaque, which is great for shopping.

When i go its the Hilton for me....its by the expo! Theirs a steakhouse in their! If u dont like the Hilton theirs,Ibis which cost 50-60 dlls,Crowne Plaza,Fiesta Americana,Howard Johnson...all these hotels are about 2-3 blocks away from each other! I forget the street name....but if u get on a taxi tell him your looking for all these or one of these hotels that they are located by the EXPO...tell him like that and they'll know...believe me! Also all these hotels are centric,nothing is to far from these hotels,Malls,restaurants,etc! Good luck!

speaking the term "best" is relative.  You can find many

good hotels that pleasure your pocket in Guadalajara.

It does'nt necessarily has to be a chain hotel.    Suit yourself

what type of hotel are you looking for?  bargain?  luxurious?  centrally located?

in my opinion, hotel san fransisco plaza on calle degollado is the best because it's very cute and traditional, the restaurant is good and reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the price is about 45-55 USD a night.  it's in the centro so it's easy to get to tourist attractions.

la quinta real is the best hotel for overall traditional look and luxury.  but you'll pay for it.
