  1. Those foods particular to a certain group of people such as Spanish, Italian, French, etc. Can also mean certain areas of any country, i.e. Cajun food might be considered an "ethnic food" because it is particular to the Cajun population down in Louisiana. Or, even some African-Americans have their "ethnic foods" such as is considered "soul" food. Then again you have oriental foods but each one different to their own country such as Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, China.. so on and so on.

  2. Food that is different from the majority of the food that you eat. Or that differs from the food from wear you from. Chinese and Japanese food is consider ethnic here in the United states. But in Japan or China Hot Dogs or Hamburgers ans French Fries would be considered ethnic.

  3. food coming from a specific ethnicity.ie, spanish food, italian, greek, mexican, et al.

  4. ethnic cuisine refers to food associated with a certain ethnic background. if you want examples here are some: things like roti, curry channa, curry aloo, refer to Indian foods. translation: roti is something like a pizza but without the toppings. channa is chick peas (i think that is what you call it) and aloo is potato.

  5. it refers to what ,rather than who (unless u are a cannibal)

plenty of accurate explanations above  .(for what it is )

  6. Ethnic Cuisine referes to foods from another ethnicty
