Now the team has fallen apart? Nasland ditched the canucks, they also are not sighning anyone good, the only thing they have done is gave sundin a contract offer!

No, and I can't even feel sorry for the fans who , like Leaf fans, blindly line up for tickets despite the S***e line-up they are offered. Gillis offers a 36 YO guy 20 mill, with NO apparent back-up plan if he says, no thanks. He watches on his hands as the Oilers and Coyotes get way better. The Wild get better just by losing Demitra, and he will probably take his washed up act to Vancouver.

Vancouver fans, stay away for 3 years, when the slum landlord loses loads of money then and only then will the positive changes start to happen.

Sundin would be a lovely pick up, but it is only good for one year. The issue was they dumped too much into Bertuzzi and Naslund on the back end of their careers and now they ar paying for it with a junk team this year... Hope Luongo can make 45 saves a game. they will need him to keep them in most games

the head coach is more interested in marketing just like the management is. i find it amazing they have done as well as they have when they have poor support from the head office.

i cry every winter when they take the nose dive and fall apart.

i've been a fan since i was 10 ( 30 years ago) my uncle and aunt actually bought Ziggler's house when he owned the Canucks and the pool had the really old time emblems on the bottom and in the pool-house. as a child i thought it a good omen but i was very wrong.

How can you feel bad for a team that has Luongo?!? I agree that they haven't made the best moves this offseason... but Naslund leaving doesn't neccessarily mean the team is going to fall apart.

I think are GM is doing a good job. He has offered a great player a contract (Mats Sundin). And has offered a contract to Pavol Dimitra. If in the off-season if things go well and we get Mats Sundin and (Rumored) Pavol Demitra I think we will have a chance at the cup!!! Are Line up will look like this:

So you were going to give Naslund  6mil a year and then trade him when his market worth was 4mil (what the Rags signed him for)? Not a very good businessman are you? and btw.... The RAGS overpaid for him at an average of 4mil a yr! Naslund has seen his better days... if VAN were smart they would have shipped him at last years Deadline for anything they could get..... but they didnt! Instead they got ZILCH for him. Nothing!

BTW- how can you feel bad for a team that has LUONGO? All you have to do is score 2 goals a game and you will make the playoffs.... and VAN couldnt do that!!!!! Feel sorry? No Thanks!

No, I can't feel sorry for Vancouver.  I have disliked them ever since their childish displays after the '94 SC and their coddling of Bertuzzi. And then not maning up to unleashing him on Moore.
