  3. ummm, a lungfish perhaps ???

  4. what???

  5. How ?...Fish have 'Gills' which, through a process like 'Osmosis', allows dissolved Oxygen in the water (Not the oxygen of H2O), to be absorbed by the fish's system without water entering the body. The gills take out the required Oxygen and the water itself passes out of the gill slit back into the surrounding water.

Whales don't have gills but simply surface, take a deep breath, and can submerge again for long periods of time. On surfacing, they blow out the Oxygen depleted air through their blowhole.

(If you were to pull a fish backwards through the water, it would drown).

  6. All fish breathe in water.  Whales (and dolphins and porpoises) aren't fish.
