  1. Lennox Lewis fought everyone out there except for Riddick Bowe who avoided him. Evander Holyfield, Andrew Golota, Ray Mercer, Vitali Klitchko, Hasim Rahman, David Tua, Michael Grant, Shannon Briggs, Tommy Morrison, Frank Bruno, and Razor Ruddock.

Tyson didn't have quite as good opposition though he did fight common opponents in Hollyfield, Golotam, Bruno, Ruddock and of course he fought Lennox himself. Michael Spinks was in his prime still when Tyson dropped him so easily and this was probably the one fight that launched Tyson into the elite fighters. Bonecrusher Smith, Tony Tucker, Pinklon Thomas, and Larry Holmes were all good notches in his belt as well.

  2. This one is easy- Lewis. Lewis fought- and beat- everyone in his weight class at the time: Holyfield, Tua, Grant, Klitschko, Rahman, Briggs, Golota, and Tyson. He completely dominated the heavyweight division throughout the 1990's. On the other hand, Tyson lost to every legitimate opponent he was in the ring against- Holyfield and Lewis. Tyson's only draw wasn't his superb boxing talent it was his ferocious knockouts which only came against journeymen. Pitted against real boxing talent, Tyson wilted under the pressure.

  3. I never got the feeling tyson (especially when he was on top) was ducking anyone, as I did with lewis late in his career as a title holder

  4. I think that Lewis fought better opponents.
