  1. i think bohr gave this name because he did the first research on atom.

  2. Probably James Chadwick

  3. James Chadwick, won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the Neutron

    According to Wikipedia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutron

"In 1932 the physicist James Chadwick in England performed a series of experiments showing that the gamma ray hypothesis was untenable. He suggested that in fact the new radiation consisted of uncharged particles of approximately the mass of the proton, and he performed a series of experiments verifying his suggestion.

These uncharged particles were called neutrons, apparently from the Latin root for neutral and the Greek ending -on (by imitation of electron and proton)."

    According to Wikipedia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Chadw...

"Sir James Chadwick, CH (20 October 1891 – 24 July 1974) was an English physicist and Nobel laureate in physics awarded for his discovery of the neutron."

  4. The word NEUTRON was apparently first used by W.D.Harkins in 1921 which was latter discovered by CHADWICK in 1932.
