  1. Architect earns more but Pharmacist is a more stable profession.

  2. architects get paid depending on the job.pharmasicts get paid a salary.

  3. architect is waaay betta duh

  4. I work for an architecture firm (building design), and I can tell you that architects are NOT highly paid, except maybe the few superstars out there. The architects who design hospitals, nursing homes, strip malls, office buildings, etc., do NOT make a lot of money, and considering that they have to have a five year degree now, plus take a licensing exam (which costs money), and to stay competitive, they also almost have to be accredited for sustainable design practices (which costs money), they start at about the same salary as the people with any bachelor's degree in a business related field. In a slow economy, developers stop developing new buildings, hospitals put expansion plans on hold, etc., and architects get laid off. If there is no design work, there is nothing for them to do.

Pharmacists on the other hand are highly paid; they also have to have a five year program, I believe. It could even be six years, I'm not sure, and I didn't just now check my facts on it, but I have read about it in the last year or so, because my niece was asking about it. It's a very stable job, and our Walgreen's closes early a couple times a month, because they don't have a pharmacist to staff it. They are in short supply.

  5. architect

  6. salary.com will answer your question and will be based on factors like zip code, number of years experience on the job, etc.
